Our family had a wonderful stay at this villa! The view was absolutely breathtaking and provided the perfect backdrop for a relaxing getaway. The staff were amazing—always attentive, friendly, and responsive to all our requests, including accommodating the needs of our toddler, which we greatly appreciated. A standout feature of our stay was the amazing cocktails! They were expertly crafted and added a special touch to our evenings as we enjoyed the stunning scenery. Additionally, the staff guided us to a beautiful local waterfall, where we had a fantastic time exploring and enjoying nature. It was a memorable highlight of our trip. The only area for improvement is the food. While it was decent, we’d love to see more fresh vegetables included in the menu to enhance the dining experience. Overall, it was a delightful stay, and we’d definitely recommend this villa for anyone looking for a peaceful and scenic retreat with top-notch hospitality, and opportunities to explore local beauty

The apartment itself is well equipped and has an amazing view of the city. It's close to most attractions but a car is still needed to get around. I would highly recommend this place. The host is also super responsive and helped me organize a driver around the city and to my next destination.

Dana and Praba were great! Dana was a responsive, very helpful, and lovely host. Praba was so sweet and her food and hospitality was incredible! The location and beauty of the surroundings were amazing and relaxing. I hope I am able to return again someday. Thanks for everything Dana and Praba!

We had an amazing stay at Charles’s place. Location was beautiful with amazing views of lake Gregory. Super close to the Town centre. Devi the caretaker was super kind and friendly and extremely helpful. This place is ideal for longer stays. Charles gave us lot of local recommendation’s of things to visit , do and eat. We highly recommend this place.

This villa is perfect for a group that wants to hang out together and eat local food cooked by the wonderful Chef Jacob. The housekeeper Roman will also help you sort out laundry via a pick up and drop off service and were friendly and lovely people. Happy to stay in a place that supports small local businesses rather than big hotels

We stayed 3 days in this beautiful villa; the place is beautiful, relaxing, peaceful and just as private; the staff was incredibly warm with us from the moment we arrived; Justin was able to meet all our expectations; the cuisine was excellent; and finally the pool which was really amazing with a breathtaking view; I highly recommend this beautiful place

We spent a delightful three days in this beautiful home, steeped in Sri Lankan history and tradition. The staff, headed by Pathi cooked us the most delicious meals, including meals where we sourced food from the local market. Pathi went out of his way to make us feel at home and completely pampered us. Not only is StonyHurst a perfect place to relax after the heat of the coast, it is a good springboard for visiting high tea estates, as well as playing golf at the course in Nuwara Eliya. We will cherish our memories from our stay.
