Our family had a wonderful stay at this villa! The view was absolutely breathtaking and provided the perfect backdrop for a relaxing getaway. The staff were amazing—always attentive, friendly, and responsive to all our requests, including accommodating the needs of our toddler, which we greatly appreciated. A standout feature of our stay was the amazing cocktails! They were expertly crafted and added a special touch to our evenings as we enjoyed the stunning scenery. Additionally, the staff guided us to a beautiful local waterfall, where we had a fantastic time exploring and enjoying nature. It was a memorable highlight of our trip. The only area for improvement is the food. While it was decent, we’d love to see more fresh vegetables included in the menu to enhance the dining experience. Overall, it was a delightful stay, and we’d definitely recommend this villa for anyone looking for a peaceful and scenic retreat with top-notch hospitality, and opportunities to explore local beauty

Dana was welcoming and super helpful. Praba is not only a lovely lady she is also an excellent cook and a brilliant fire starter when our attempts failed! 😊 The property is quirky in a good way. Cleverly designed and built by Dana. We had a lovely stay at Skyridge and have already recommended it to others.

We had an amazing stay at Charles’s place. Location was beautiful with amazing views of lake Gregory. Super close to the Town centre. Devi the caretaker was super kind and friendly and extremely helpful. This place is ideal for longer stays. Charles gave us lot of local recommendation’s of things to visit , do and eat. We highly recommend this place.

Lal and his family took such good care of us, when we visited them in Nuwara Eliya. We had the chance to come with Lal on a 4-5 hours trek/walk in the mountains surrounding Nuwara Eliya for a small amount of money and he knows so much about nature. We found it very interesting and really appreciated him sharing his knowledge. In the evening Grace, his wife, and Rumeni, his daughter, cooked us the most delicious Sri Lankan dinner, while teaching us about the spices they use, and we loved it! The food was the best we’ve had so far, and we’ve already had 1 week of delicious food here. Also we can’t wait to try to make some of it ourselves, when we get home. A little advice is to pack enough warm clothes, because the place get quite cold in the evening and nighttime. Rumeni was so sweet to give us a warm water pillow that we brought to bed, and that was very nice ☺️ Also there is only cold water in the shower, but we’re used to ice baths, so we were okay with that 😉

This villa is perfect for a group that wants to hang out together and eat local food cooked by the wonderful Chef Jacob. The housekeeper Roman will also help you sort out laundry via a pick up and drop off service and were friendly and lovely people. Happy to stay in a place that supports small local businesses rather than big hotels

We stayed for 2 nights, beautiful view from balcony and host was very responsive and everything was arranged dinner or breakfast on time.
