Villa vacation rentals in Hakone

The living room had windows almost all the way to the garden, and it was snowing heavily, so you could see the snow piling up from the window, and it was cozy and very nice, especially at night. The bed was comfortable and there was a massage chair. It was a great space. Most importantly, the host responded quickly and explained the local weather and local recommendations in detail, which I was very grateful for.

They were very nice to help, even though we had a last-minute reservation. It is located in a private house, but it was very healing by the view from the large window from the living room. The stars in the night sky also looked very beautiful.I stayed in March, and it was still a cold season in the morning, but it was not cold at all and I had a pleasant time.I want to stay here again.

Great location and friendly host

If there is a suggestion for improvement to be made, I suggest that the host change the TV to be able to support web programs such as YouTube, Netflix.

What a lovely place! We stayed there for two nights and spent most of the time in the house due to rain. The surroundings are beautiful, lovely bird chirping, and a great view. The house has fantastic futon beds which has been the best on our trip in Japan. The onsen bath is perfect to relax in when there a cold rainy day and you can manually choose what temperature you want in the bath.

The room was beautiful, the sauna was great, and everything was good!I would like to go again if I have a chance.

This property is mind blowing. I would go back in a heartbeat. Looks BETTER than the pictures, somehow the interior is large and open but with compartments to ensure privacy and solitude as well. I stayed with my two teenage sons (who were VERY impressed) and I can see how well this would accommodate a large party as well. The views of Mt Fuji were real! Bird’s eye view of the city, lovely forest surrounding the area with birds chirping. Feels so peacefully alone on a mountaintop. Relaxing. I did not listen too well about the location (which is clearly stated)…. You MUST take food, etc. if you don’t have a car. Unless you want to walk. I did enjoy the stunning walk to 7-11, but it was an hour both ways. Which sounded awful, but I am shocked to say that I LOVED every moment of the walk. I’d do it again if I could stay another night! Yuzu tree and Sakura were beautiful …if you are looking for an Airbnb in this area- you want this one. Also GREAT communication.

We stayed as a large group, but there was no problem with the size and we were able to gather and eat and drink together.There were also multiple beds, and it was convenient to be able to separate them by men and women.I appreciated the fact that both the host and Airbnb responded immediately.

I came from Canada to visit.The purpose of the trip was to have a relaxing trip with 10 people including family living in Japan, small children, and a mother with bad legs, but I am very satisfied that we were able to travel more than I thought.Mr. Kimata was kind enough to answer any questions I had about this trip, even months in advance.It was very helpful that they picked us up with two cars when the footing was bad due to the snow on the day.AIRBNB doesn't do basic housekeeping, but they changed the towels and cleaned the bathtub.You need a car to get to the supermarket and restaurants, but it's the best location for a trip where the purpose is to "relax".There is a vending machine right next to the house where you can buy drinks, and the 7-Eleven is a 5-minute walk away, so it was not a problem for a little shopping.The lake was also about 10 minutes on foot.You can see Mt. Fuji from every room in the house, so you can enjoy the beautiful scenery without walking to the lake.I was very impressed to see Mt. Fuji dyed pink from the house in the early morning.On the way back, the host took us to the newly built observation deck, and we enjoyed Mt. Fuji to the very end.After that, I left my luggage at the Hirano bus stop and got off at Dallas Village.I am truly grateful for Mr. Kimata's thorough and polite service.I was able to make the best memories!Thank you so much!

I think it's better to have a car for access. The facilities and services were very satisfying. The outdoor bath was also emotional, and the host took care of the detailed temperature adjustments. We would like to stay again if we get the chance.

Beautiful accommodations. The bedrooms and baths were lovely. The two onsens were fabulous as was the decor and the living room area. There is an inclined hike to get to the house.

It was a great space that made me want to go again, and I enjoyed it very much. I thought it was a place where I could play with cards, Uno, etc., and it was a place where I could play with less luggage. The location will be out of range in the mountains, so I think it would be better for you to check the route in advance.

Loved the view of Mt. Fuji — absolutely stunning. The place was clean, comfortable, and beautifully designed.

There was plenty of space in the room, and there were all the cooking utensils and amenities, so I had a comfortable stay. The grill for the BBQ was also ready to use. There are few street lights around, so it's safe to move before the sun goes down.

It was a very nice place! I want you to use it again!

This place was the epitome of peaceful. We loved our stay so much and would definitely come back. Host was wonderful, helpful, responsive and friendly. The view is gorgeous and the house is loaded with amenities. Not house related, but just as a tip, it was sometimes difficult to get a taxi if you do not have your own car. That would not deter us from staying at this amazing place again! Absolutely stunning!

It was a good space to enjoy BBQing and fireworks with friends.However, the location was not a very good part of the land of Izu, but it was not very good.You can't go without a car, but it's hard to get there by car.

We used it for 8 people, but we had a relaxing time.The photos were somewhat imagined before the visit, but the bathroom, shower room, and bathtub were more spacious and comfortable than I expected. The main purpose of this stay was the BBQ and fireworks, but they provided both of which were easy to do, making it easy to enjoy. There were plenty of kitchen utensils and amenities, and the size of the TV, the number of chairs, and the arrangement were perfect for a large group to stay comfortably. The interaction on Airbnb was smooth, and we had a peaceful and pleasant time because of the warm welcome on arrival, and the polite response was handled, and we had a peaceful and enjoyable time!I wanted to stay again if I get the chance.
