The view of Mt. Fuji from the large living room and the large cypress bath were a nice place to stay. I'd love to stay again if I get the chance

The beautiful interior, especially the water area was beautiful, and the surround AV was also good.We all enjoyed it.It was winter, so I didn't get into the pool, but it was bigger than I expected, deep, and fun in the summer.You can enjoy wine poolside and a great space.Highly recommended!️

It was a very comfortable space, from the exterior to the interior to the dishes.It was also helpful for dogs to have the good quality things you need. I'd love to go again.

Excellent hospitality for 5 days on New Year's Eve! I also had a 4-year-old daughter, but there was a step table, children's dishes, and there was a trampoline, balls, swings, and badminton in the garden, so I could enjoy it with my family without having any time! My parents were also with me, but there were two bedrooms on the second floor, so the sleeping space was comfortable! There were a lot of citrus fruits in the garden, and it was fun to pick tangerines, and it was delicious.😋 Thank you!

The house is clean and organized, and the environment is quite good, because it is very convenient to walk to the bridge. The nearest convenience store is about 1.5 kilometers, shopping and shopping will be more tired. Everything else is good!

Worth the money. The host really responsive even at night when we got some medical issue. They advice what to do. Even when to gas cut off, they inform immediately. The house is spacious for all of us 6 pax. It is perfect place for a family like us. I really would appreciate the host for all his hospitality.

Our time at Shoko’s home was an absolute dream! The place was beautiful, pristine clean, and beautiful architecture - it was a true Japanese experience. Shoko was an angel, and one of the kindest humans you will ever meet - from sending us recommendations and events, welcoming us at the door, wonderful local restaurant tips and guides on what to see, and checking in on us each day. Shoko went above and beyond to make our trip magical, and one to remember for a lifetime. Thank you so much Shoko, we appreciate you and your kindness so much!

The view was very good and we had a pleasant stay. There were a lot of bedding, so there was no trouble with the cold!

Had a lovely time staying at Shinobu's place! Everything was nicely decorated and the beds were fantastic. Also the outdoor hot bath and garden were pristine! The pictures don't do the home justice, as the home is even more incredible and beautiful in real life. We would love to stay again in the future!

Very responsive host, amazingly clean place. We bought our dog along, the walk to the coast is easy and so worth it.

I wanted to stay in an old Japanese house once, but it was a great location and home.It was really nice, not to mention the special feeling that you can stay in a historic house where Masataro lived, but it also made the most of the goodness of the original house to make the most of it and it was really nice.In the winter, I was worried about the cold, but the room was warm and comfortable with the double windows. At night, I went to a local sushi restaurant that I couldn't meet at a ryokan, and I bought sausages and bread near Atami Station, and had breakfast in an old house while looking at the sea. The highlight was that I was able to relax and enjoy the rising sunrise.It is also a good idea to accumulate hot water in the bath and watch the sunrise. The recommended Izuyama Shrine is about a 30-minute walk from the inn.There are many ups, but it was a good walk.The MOA Museum was also very nice. There is still plenty of room for a garden with summer trees.It would be great if you could put a barrel sauna in the garden and create a tidy space with a view of the sea.I will be staying here again.

very nice host, kind hearted.. the best service is owner willing pick up and drop off at the station gotemba.. the house was beautiful, so peacefull, and i can see the mt fuji from the kitchen .. its clearly and wonderful! perfect location and very good hospitality.. reccommended!!!

We had a BBQ for a large group of seven people and stayed. The host is very kind. I am very satisfied with the location and facilities. We'd love to stay again.

A very nice house with complete ameneties. Feels very like live in our own house. The location also great. The host is very good, easy to communicate and always answer of all our question.

It was the cosiest of all retreats. The cottage was spacious and had all the amenities you required. Mieko, our host made us feel right at home. Special mention must go to Mieko, whom is a super host, from preparing us for the trip, till sending us off. She has put in 110% effort to make us feel comfortable and welcomed. While the cottage is situated in Fuji forest, the instructions to get there was clear and easily understood. Will definitely return to stay while in the region again. Our family had a lovely stay there.
