Monthly Rentals in Guzmán Abajo

This place felt like home. We arrived with no problems because the directions provided were very clear, keys were in the lock box and we got inside with no issues. As soon as we walked in the first thing I noticed was that it was very clean. We were provided with everything we needed, from cookware to extra bedsheets, towels, and even board games and coloring books for the kids. My husband would go out and get jobos every morning from the tree that was right outside and at night you can hear the coquis and the water from the river next to the house, which my kids also loved swimming in. The apartment is close to so many stores and local restaurants and is only a short drive to the beach and el yunque. I highly recommend staying at this apartment, it definitely gives you the feeling of what living in the island is like, surrounded by nature and at the same time close enough to the city. Overall great place. Highly recommended.

Such a cute little treehouse, with beautiful views of the forest all around. The place was pristine, and stocked with snacks and drinks for our convenience (also, Netflix was available, which was nice). Julio provided the instructions for finding the place and lockbox instructions multiple days in advance, which I appreciated. Highly recommend staying here!

We loved our stay at the casita! It was very nice to feel secluded and have our own little oasis but also still be within 30 minutes of beaches and the rainforest! We enjoyed driving the mountain roads to and from the house (be aware they are quite steep!) Everything was very clean and it was even more updated and modern than the pictures showed - new furniture, painted walls. We enjoyed the pool every evening and it was the perfect temperature for a night time dip! It had all the amenities we needed, even AC units for every room which was so nice for a break from the heat! Listening to the sounds of the rainforest at night and early morning was beautiful! We would love to stay here again!

We loved this location. It truly is so peaceful. Centrally located between the city and the rainforest. 20-30ish mins to everything and easy to get to places from this location. The place was so very clean and had a few helpful extras like beach towels and a cooler. I do think the bed is actually a full. It felt smaller than a queen as advertised and we had a little difficulty getting the AC from the kitchen to make it to the bedroom but the fan helped and we still give this location 5 stars. Karla's guidebook had fantastic options. You won't be disappointed.
