Vacation rentals in Gunwharf Quays, Portsmouth

We had a wonderful few days here. The view is addictive! We stayed up way too late tracking vessels coming in and out of Southampton. The chalet is spacious and beds very comfortable. It was a bonus to be able to park the camper van right behind the chalet and to bring two small dogs. Sadly weather was too poor to make use of the pool this time. Perhaps we missed the instructions but we had troubke finding no 77. Advise looking at the site plan as you enter the holiday park. All in all a very good stay.

The flat was beautifully furnished and clean, the atmosphere calm and peaceful with a view over the park. All the facilities and equipment were easy to use, clean and well maintained, and looked new, the showers were heavenly. It was an absolute joy to stay there. Richard was a wonderful host, so friendly and welcoming, and he even came to find us on the first day when we took a wrong turning. He also helped carry our luggage on arrival and when we left, which I hugely appreciated.

James was good at communicating, and left clear instructions for everything. He also met us on arrival. The bungalow was as per the description and photos (please note that bed 3-twin room has drawer clothes storage but no hanging space). It's clean, light and airy. The bungalow was in a quiet location and yet close to amenities and a short walk to the beach. We had 3 cars between us and were easily able to fit them on the driveway. We would happily return!" I can't think of anything else that any potential guest would need to know above the information on Airbnb and reviews already left.

What a great little gem - I wasn’t sure what to expect ( we stayed in static caravans before so I expected something quite narrow and small), but it was a lot bigger and should win a price on how to create the best use out of a small area- everything was well thought through , the kitchen was very well equipped and even though it was raining and windy, we spend quite some time inside and it was cozy and comfortable. The heaters were very efficient that once it was warm, they hardly had to come on again since the place was well insulated. Beds also really comfortable and we would def visit again. It was very quiet tucked away in the garden behind the main house.

Everything perfect. 100% recommend and will return. Michael is very responsible and responsive and everything was organised well. The home itself has numerous decorations with a great heating warming up the cold days. Felt like home. Next to train station but not noisy at all, great transport links and close to many shops.

Fantastic location for walking & exploring. The barn is beautifully presented and stylishly furnished. Very spacious. Loved seeing the Llamas on our morning walk with our dog - on our doorstep. The New Inn pub down the road - Victoria’s tip - awesome, friendly, great food at a sensible price - try the venison or brill filets! Our only regret was that we didn’t stay for longer. Absolutely gorgeous cosy cabin. Our whole experience was perfect. Thank you Mike and Sarah for providing wonderful accommodation and being fabulous hosts! :) Loved the lil welcome pack on arrival, much appreciated! 💯 will be coming back again and highly recommend. 10/10

Hosts were very responsive and always willing to help. Quiet and peaceful area. Really enjoyed the amenities and the comfy beds. Worth staying if you’re looking in the area.
