Wonderfully central location in a special city. The neighborhood is as authentic as it gets. Easy walk to sights, services and conveniences. Great staging area for day trips to surrounding villages and towns as well as Mt Etnea. Other positive reviews are accurate and informative and there’s no need to restate them. Yes, water pressure is a bit weak in the shower, but on the other hand, it’s hot and maintains a nice even temperature, which is often a problem in Airbnbs around the world. As someone who likes to shop local markets and cook my own meals, the kitchen is most adequate and the central street market is absolutely fantastic. The price for a month was a good value and the unit is perfect for a single traveler or couples and longterm stays.

Aldo is a good host. He is responsive, helpful and communicative. I thoroughly enjoyed staying at his place, and it made me feel right at home in Catania. I would stay here again, provided Aldo is up for it too. :) Until next time.

Staying at Manlio’s place was a fantastic experience. The location is just a short walk from many historic sites, making it perfect for sightseeing. There are plenty of great restaurants nearby, and the neighborhood is both charming and peaceful. I highly recommend it!
