Vacation rentals in Grimes

Great place and close to my adult children and grandchildren!! Only thing that i would complain about would be the couch sinks to close the floor for a couple of 70 year olds!! Hahaha. Not as flexable as we used to be. Would diffinately reserve again!!! Thanks Josh!!

Molly was a great host and very helpful when we had questions and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable for our family. Her home was very clean, the furniture was really comfortable, and the home was on an active farm surrounded by beautiful and peaceful farm land. The home is also only about 10 minutes to Adel which has a cute little downtown area with several resturants and only about a half hour to the West end of Des Moines which had a lot of shopping and activity. It was a perfect stay for us.

We do an annual girls’ weekend and love staying here. Very spacious rooms along with comfortable seating areas. We always feel at home.

We could not have asked for a better location to share the holiday and family time that marked the end of 2024! The house was more than comfortable and the host was most gracious.

The was an amazing place to stay in the middle of everything. Luis was excellent and answered any questions or concerns I had within minutes. Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a place to stay in the Des Moines area

What a peaceful retreat! Our goal was relaxation and we were easily able to achieve that at the cottage. We enjoyed the natural sunlight that drenched us in the mornings and the beautiful sunsets out the kitchen window in the evenings. The amenities were perfect, the cottage was very clean and tidy, and the property was secluded and quaint. There were so many special touches that showed the owner's desire to make the stay comfortable - games, books, comfy furniture, hot tub, and even local pastries. We would love to visit again in another season to see more of the outdoors and enjoy the fall colors. Thanks for allowing us to stay!

We loved our stay at Seth’s! There was so much space and we felt right at home. Lots of amenities, gorgeous neighborhood close to everything, and the hot tub and soaker tub were great perks. Seth was also responsive and provided fun local recommendation. Next time we come to Des Moines, we would definitely love to stay here again!

Amy was a great host. She communicated very well and check in and check out were very easy to do, and she didn’t make us clean the house afterwards like some other places on Airbnb! The house was pristine on arrival and in great shape. Overall, it was a great experience and we’ll definitely keep this house in mind in the future.
