Melissa certainly knows how to make a first impression. This coupled with the ambience of the cottage and the thoughtful value addedness made our stay one to remember.

We really had a great time at melissa's place was a great location and perfect for our skiing holiday. Having the lake right outside the backdoor was so convenient for the kids no packing up gear to go skiing for the day and when the little ones needed a rest, the adults could still enjoy the dam. Melissa was extremely helpful with any queries i had prior to checking in. I would definitely recommend this place and will most definitely be booking again. Thanks again melissa for allowing us to stay at your lovely house.

The location was perfect – just a short walk to the stunning beach, yet tucked away enough to offer complete privacy. The house was impeccably clean, well-appointed, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The views were breathtaking, and we loved sitting on the deck enjoying the serene surroundings. It was the perfect spot for a relaxing getaway, and we truly appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout the home. This felt like a home away from home for us. It had everything we could have needed as a young family. The beds were so comfy that we slept better then we do at home. The distance of the lake to the house was so convenient. We stayed over Christmas and they had a tree and decorations which made you feel like the magic of Christmas came on holidays with you. We absolutely loved our stay and could not Speak any more highly of this location if we tried. Thank you so much for having us and we will be back again ❤️❤️❤️

AMAZING house and location! The house had everything we needed and so many activities and toys for the kids. Super comfortable and lovely home in the most picturesque location. We visit Mission Beach area annually and this is the best place we have ever stayed at. We will be visiting again!

I really appreciated all the little touches of home that you have made throughout the house. I had the best sleep of my life with the fresh air and soothing sounds of the rainforest, and it was just lovely to feel so isolated yet a short drive from some great attractions in the Daintree. Also, I need to buy myself a hammock now! I could have stayed in that hammock on the verandah with the ocean view for days on end haha. Thank you again for providing a welcome escape to nature.

Perfect honeymoon destination; a luxurious home in a beautiful location! The house was right on the water front, so peaceful, and the house was in pristine condition. The private pool was the perfect place to unwind after a say of exploring the island. Would highly recommend!

The blue house was a wonderful place for young and old, picturesque surroundings and an abundance of activities to do the lake. Clean as whistle inside and out and close to town and surrounding areas to visit, I would definitely stay again and would recommend to others. regards Marty Manski.

Location was magic! The boat ramp was just at the bottom of the hill right in front, so perfect for launching the ski boat. Fantastic new kitchen and very functional and easy to use appliances. Not stocked with the essentials so we did have to buy everything required for large cook ups. Our 11 guests stayed in comfort and was perfect for large families. Great outdoor area with a massive table and chairs for large family meals. Also lounge had plenty of room for people to relax inside. Heaps of room for cars and boats with easy access. Enjoyed our break to Tinaroo 🚤👌🏼
