Quirky self-contained Chalet 'Little Switzerland’

This was one of our best Airbnb experiences to date. Fabulous location; lovely, friendly and well informed hosts; lots of wonderful extra touches like home made bread, cereals, great selection of teas, fresh milk etc; and super comfy and warm. Couldn't ask for anything more. Thank you Phil and Diane for being great hosts.

Willow Cottage Newly renovated quaint cottage

JaneRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Willow Cottage was gorgeous and we have had a lovely short stay. Super cosy with an amazing wood burning stove, lovely furnishings and absolutely everything you could need. Very clear instructions for all appliances and the best laid out and equipped little kitchen - perfect for two guests. The location is perfect for exploring Youlgreave and beyond.

The Annexe - Belle Vue House

BobRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
It's a lovely part of the Peak District just outside the national park boundary but still really attractive. The village is great for public transport. We left the car at home and went by train. We did lots of good walks from the door or with a short bus ride: Our first day we got the bus to the National Stone Centre (good trails, exhibition and cafe) then walked home over Black Rock, down the High Peak cycle route, along the Cromford Canal and over the Heights of Jacob above Gulliver's Kingdom. Good veggie cafe in Scarthin Bookshop at Cromford. We also walked to Matlock via High Tor and walked home by Shining Cliff and the Heights of Abraham. All walkable from the door! On another day we got the bus to Hopton and walked round Carsington Reservoir to Carsington village for the bus back. The house is comfy and is raised above the valley with fantastic views but very quiet. In the town we can recommend the Balti restaurant, Restoration Cafe, Fig Cafe and there are plenty of chippies!
