The Bothy is a wonderful place for both r&r and as a base to explore the wilds of Scotland. It’s incredibly peaceful, cosy, and well located. There are plenty of walks that leave from the front door, as well as some beautiful longer walks a short car ride or cycle away. Susannah was a wonderful host and kept in touch which was much appreciated. Definitely stay here if you can!

Our stay be it for only five days was a comfortable & peaceful stay. The quiet wonderful scenic views across the fields from both inside & outside the house was the perfect tonic needed coming from a large city. Thank once again. Christopher.

The proprietors were so friendly and accommodating. We loved the accommodation - it had everything you could think of, immaculate, warm, comfy beds and great surroundings. The only downside wasn't the property; it was the sat nav, which took us to another rental accommodation called the Stables (probably our fault). However, it was dark, and the agency didn't respond to our calls—it went to answer the phone. Only when my husband recalled the location on the pictures did he realise it was the other side of the main road. We would definitely return.
