It was just what we needed to get away, chill and relax. Very cozy and comfortable. Beautiful scenery with the lake and the mountains in the distance. No complaints.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Michael’s place while returning my daughter for her spring semester at Plattsburgh. The space was warm and cozy, making it easy to feel comfortable and right at home. We truly enjoyed our time and would love to visit again in the future.

Laurie and Tom’s cottage is set on a beautiful piece of property that has partial lake views. They were both gracious hosts and chatted with us about the area as long time VT residents. There’s an accessible path to the lake with a dock you can get breathtaking lake views. Grand Isle is fairly rural so very private and quiet. The stargazing when it’s clear is amazing. The property is very big and had enough space for the poodle to have the zoomies and play lots of fetch. The cottage itself is so quaint and cozy. The wood paneling really provides that VT touch. The gas wood stove really warms up the whole cottage and you can set the temperature. The kitchen is dated but that’s part of the charm. Cooked a lot of meals and used the gas grill outside for some steaks. Bathroom is also clean and has lots of towels. Bed is very comfortable. Loved seeing the fall foliage through the kitchen window. WiFi can be spotty though if you plan on multiple people doing video calls. Loved the spot!
