Monthly Rentals in Governor's Harbour

We had an amazing time in Eleuthera! This apartment is right in the middle of a beautiful, small community with a grocery store, gas station, ATM, bakery, and lots of great restaurants. Dom personally checked us in and showed us his own map of Eleuthera and all the great spots to check out in governors harbor. The home is beautiful with lots of outdoor seating and even a roof deck for stargazing! Definitely stay as long as possible, you’ll never run out of things to do in Eleuthera

Check in was super easy, which we always appreciate after a long day of travel. The place is clean, tidy, and cozy. There are kitchen utensils, shampoo in the shower, all the little things we appreciate. Though not ON the beach, the location is near to perfect. You are close to all the best beaches on the island and a short drive to town / multiple restaurants. We enjoyed that it is calm and sheltered from wind at night and enjoyed star gazing, but had to retreat inside once the no see ums found us (they are the worst, seriously, bring bug spray!). Overall, we highly enjoyed our stay here and would love to visit again.

Shannon and Bruce’s place is great. One of the best stocked kitchens we’ve ever visited, with actual sharp knives (rare). Fresh fruit and herbs from the garden, used the grill which was great. Very comfy furnishings and all you need for the beach, too. You can walk to a great Caribbean side jump in point (not sandy but convenient) and we walked to the Atlantic for a nice swim and jog on the beach. Convenient location to drive anywhere North Eleuthera, and they give lots of help on where to go. Attentive and responsive hosts who take care of the place. The cats are also friendly and great too. We enjoyed our stay and will do it again, and hope to sail next time.

Tough tiny, the Mel's Manor little cottage was charming and comfortable inside and outside in the lovely tropical garden with a hammock and two patio areas. The lengthy packet of info about everything to see and do on the island was much appreciated. The close proximity to Governor's Harbor, several gorgeous beaches, and restaurants made this a great location, although we still did a lot of driving to see everything between here and North Eleuthera during our 5 days. The side roads off the main two-lane highway were usually filled with bad potholes. Best of all was the friendliness and accessibility of the owner, John, who lives on the property and was always readily available to answer questions and offer tips. We highly recommend this place!
