Pleasant stay aboard the houseboat, the studio is functional, the instructions for access and use are very clear. The terrace is very pleasant, especially with the return of sunny days. The location is ideal, there are plenty of restaurants, very nice cafes and places to discover. We highly recommend:)

We had an amazing stay on the boat! Our group of eight friends found everything clean and well-maintained. The two showers were a big plus, and we loved the common area for hanging out. The Bluetooth speaker was a great touch too!

Sandra is a high quality boat captain, pedagogue, anxious to share her passion for sailing, mobilizing the energy of the passengers. His tips for choosing the circuit and the harbor steps are wise and we were looking forward to following them. This historic boat (it is over 100 years old), in perfect condition is ideal to make its first weapons of sailors. The whole family was delighted to participate in the maneuvers. We got the train from the airport to Amsterdam central with the accommodation a short walk away. The houseboat was in a great location within easy walking distance of restaurants and museums. Great communication from hosts. Would recommend and visit again.

Harold's cozy houseboat is ideal for a few days' stay in Amsterdam. By public transport you are super fast in the city center! The houseboat is cozily furnished and it's a little adventure to stay in if you're not used to it. Harold is very friendly and even gave us a fruit basket and a bottle of wine to welcome us!

We absolutely loved our stay in the houseboat - it was so uniquely Amsterdam and Nadine was a great host! At the last minute she accommodated our early check in and we loved sitting on the top of the boat watching the wildlife and boats go by. The area is so peaceful, and even though the bus stops are about 10 minutes away - it is so worth it for the tranquility.

We had a very lovely stay in the Maria! The houseboat was a cozy and quiet place to land after busy days of exploring the city. It felt very peaceful to be on the water and we enjoyed the privacy of having our own space separate from the rest of the houseboat.

Very nice and new experience. Was really out the way of Amsterdam city centre but the stay on the boat was worth it.

We can really recommend staying on the boat. The location is something special, sitting in the wheelhouse watching the sun go down and the boats coming and going was so relaxing, you are surrounded by water birds and the gentle sounds of the harbour. Soooo easy to get into Amsterdam on the bus and tube. If you want to see more of the area get the bus to Edam, walk to Vollendam then ferry to Marken and a bus back home, great cafes in every town and all are fascinating to walk round. We feel very lucky to have spent time on Johanna.

Amazing place to stay at, super warm and cozy, while at the same time being spacious as well. We went as a larger group of people and were very comfortable, the host is very kind and responsive as well. Will 100% be back and suggest everyone to stay at this ship :)

Nice host, nice space. Bedrooms are of course small. Beds are good. No dishwasher. We didn't mind but good to know. Beautiful berth.

This was the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. If you’re considering staying here, just do it! The location was incredible. We were in the middle of everything and it was very convenient to the train and tram stations. The houseboat itself was perfect. It is small, but that didn’t bother us one bit. We loved watching all the boats go by from the comfort of the kitchen table. We will definitely stay here again in the future!

Lovely apartment in the stern of a boat. Equipped with all comforts. Really nice and well-maintained! Always available and polite hosts. Great location 2 steps from the center and the central station. Highly recommended!

Our hosts left adult and kid-friendly treats for us upon arrival- and the jesters of hospitality made me feel very welcomed! Family of 5- kids 13, 7 and 4. Apprehensive at first - but this was the best decision we made the whole trip. Unique experience for our girls, walking distance to great restaurants, ice cream, bakery. Uber was super easy for pickup at the end of the street. Hosts were responsive with our delayed arrival, and question on the heater. There’s a washer/dryer, hair dryer, k cup style coffee maker. It’s very quiet- my girls arguing over who could punch in the code was the loudest I heard the whole trip. If you are surfing for a location like I was for your family friendly Amsterdam trip- book this boat for 3+ nights- I’m telling you it’s worth it. Mom approved! :) 🏆🏆🏆

Everything was great from check-in to check-out. Michiel greeted us and provided a short tour of the room. He also provided some breakfast items and beer. The location was ideal being in a quiet neighborhood, but also within walking distance of popular attractions. A highlight of our trip was sitting on top of the boat with drinks at the end of the night watching the activity on the Amstel. We would definitely stay at Michiel’s Airbnb again!
