Bed and breakfast vacation rentals in Government of Amsterdam

Els was what all good Airbnb hosts should be! Helpful, communicative, and friendly. She gave us excellent recommendations on activities, restaurants, and nearby attractions, and was overall, a great help to our trip to Amsterdam. The place was only a train ride from the city center, and walking distance to a lot of beautiful attractions, which was perfect for us. The apartment was a basement apartment and very spacious and had everything a guest could need. The only thing was that it did get a bit muggy after a while, especially after showering. That being said, it was a great place and I would definitely recommend this apartment to anybody traveling to Amsterdam!

I and my wife had the pleasure of staying at Rob's place in March 2025 for three nights. He was absolutely warm and polite with us. I would like to mention a few things that I think future guests would find helpful. 1. Rob's apartment is just a 5 minute walk from Florijn bus stop. The bus from here would take 10 minute to reach Bijlmer Arena from where you can catch metro or train to anywhere in Amsterdam and beyond. 2. The apartment was clean and well maintained. 3. You get a kitchen to cook your meals with electric hob and pots and pans. There is also a refrigerator, dishwasher in the kitchen itself. There are two big washing machines and dryer on the first floor. 4. Now, the last and the most important point - Don't forget to have traditional Dutch breakfast which Rob prepares for you with utmost care and affection 😊

Lovely stay with close connection to public transport which brings you to center of Amsterdam in 15 minutes. Apartment is clean and cozy and Gabriel was a host always reachable and super friendly.

Great spot, walking distance to all the attractions and restaurants. Davide was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay!

In one word…..wow! Driss and Bettina’s Airbnb is amazing! So comfortable, cozy and clean! The location is superb! Close to all the museums, the canals and shopping. Bettina gave us a list of their favorite restaurants, where to buy provisions, and excellent instructions on how to get there from the airport👍. Any questions or requests were responded to immediately and Bettina reserved a taxi for us the more we sadly had to leave. We would highly recommended Driss and Bettina’s place considering and stay in Amsterdam!

Micha was a most gracious host and it was lovely to meet him :) He was full of enthusiasm and made us smile and laugh every day we met. A charming man. The place was very cosy with a cool balcony and also - a great location. Very close to Biljmer arena metro station. We will stay again for sure!

Absolutely stunning place. I have never encountered such a clean accommodation before. Everything tuned to the last detail. No part of the interior shows signs of wear. Quiet environment. Kind, generous and welcoming. Really worth it

The room was very clean and ideally located (10 minutes away) from Central Station. Comfortable and on a very quiet street and close to shops and restaurants. The bedroom equipment is very complete (with a mini fridge) and well arranged (thank you for the office area). A really great little, breakfast is included. Just present the voucher and we'll bring you a very full breakfast and that's really good. Highly recommend for a stay in Amsterdam!

It’s been a great few days in Amsterdam. Vivian’s place is close to the city centre (about 10/15 min by public transport). The room is clean and nice, all needed to make the experience great. Vivian is a great host, we had issues with the booking and she helped sorting it as soon as we got in. Very friendly as well.

amazing place in the countryside of Amsterdam. calm, peaceful and clean. 20 Min by bike ( offered free from Henk) by main train station. super recommended if you want to avoid the crowd in Amsterdam but still visit it. extra plus really good breakfast included.

The room looked exactly like the photos, very cozy, everything clean. The entrance to the room was up very steep stairs and walking around the owner's house, we thought it would be more separate, but we never met and it was completely private. The apartment is located by the park, in a very quiet part of the city, a short walk to the bus, metro and tram, but you could also walk to the center. The room was ready for everything, the bathroom was very nice and absolutely sufficient. We had a great stay.

Mark was a wonderfully nice and welcoming host and his apartment was beautiful and clean. I had a comfortable stay and enjoyed the convenient location for exploring Amsterdam's city center. Highly recommend! 🥰

As we were driving we needed somewhere to stay with parking. This was perfect as it stayed out of the way of the city and was super easy for us to get into the centre of Amsterdam on the tram, which only was a 2 min walk from the B&B. Patrick and Simone were lovely and super helpful with instructions and ensuring we got parked and checked in. They were very attentive, and fresh croissants and bread for breakfast each morning was lovely. Perfect for a few nights, would highly recommend ☺️

My family and I had a fantastic stay at Bob & Menno’s B&B in Amsterdam! From the moment we arrived, they were incredibly warm and helpful, making us feel right at home. The house boat was in a very good location it was in a walkable spot to centre of the city, the hosts were very friendly and welcoming, we were comfortable staying in the location which was quiet and the room was clean. Would recommend

Host, loft, location and service were really perfect and left nothing to be desired. Unconditionally recommend. We will be happy to come back!

Allysa and Felix are very hospitable. We arrived early in thr city but they were kind enough to leave our luggages in the bnb. The bnb had 2 bedrooms and a shower/toilet. It is situated on the 4th floor of the building and mind you.. these are narrow and steep stairs. But the bnb itself has enough space. Probably needs a small closet plus hangers for clothes. Best thing was the rooftop terrace as it serves as a common area of the bnb. Also, EVERYTHING was near us and we mostly just walked going to our planned destinations. The space is super good for one or two people. a super comfortable and private room that will allow you to rest surely. Nick and Cherry are beautiful people and will help you find everything you are looking for, in addition they have an incredible kitten called Yuki.

We stayed in Amsterdam for a few days and chose the studio, which was really super nice. The decor was stylish and clean, we felt very comfortable right away. The use of the bikes was also super convenient and so you could quickly get from A to B. The communication was also great and Ragna and Samuel were super nice and always helped us, also the recommendations for Amsterdam helped us. It was in summary so everything was really perfect, thank you for the lovely stay.

Beautiful rooms, in a great environment. Mirjam is a great host who goes out of her way to make a lot of effort and freshly prepared breakfast. The rooms are furnished with a lot of love.
