Monthly Rentals in Golspie

We had a wonderful stay in Eric and Alison's beautiful cottage. The decor and ambience were spot on. The bed was really comfortable and there's plenty of clean, fresh linen. The place was cosy but light and very tastefully decorated. The kitchen had all that's needed for self catering but Dornoch has plenty of restaurants and cafes if you feel like eating out. The cottagewas private and peaceful and it was easy to relax after days of sight seeing. The garden is really lovely and well maintained. We really enjoyed Dornoch and were lucky enough to visit during market day and the locals were very friendly and helpful. Milk and Honey is great for breakfast and coffee, and Luigi's is great for dinner. We enjoyed visiting Golspie, Helmsdale, the falls at Big Burn and Carn Liath. Eric and Alison were very welcoming, and kindly left provisions for a cooked breakfast as well as tasty local shortbread. It was lovely to meet them both and we'd love to stay again in the future!

We had a fabulouso weekend. The cottage really made the stay all the more special while at a family wedding. They have thought of everything . Anything you might need is at your hand. Spotless clean and lots of character. Loved it. In the perfect spot for beach walks, golf and the pub! What more could you ask! The wood burner is a real threat with easy to follow instructions. Me and my partner spent Christmas at the cottage this year, with our 3 dogs, it couldn’t have been more perfect! We had absolutely everything we needed, there were games, books, comfy sofas, fast WiFi, towels, shower gel, shampoo & conditioner. Not to mention the folder full of leaflets & info for recommendations for different walks and places to eat. The king bed was so comfortable, the shower was amazing and the kitchen has all the utensils and amenities you’d need. The local area was beautiful, the beach and the loch especially, and the shops at a stones throw distance away was super convenient, we stayed for 3 nights and didn’t need to use our car once while we were there! Overall the cottage was cosy, clean, warm, well thought out and peaceful. We will 100% be booking to stay again! Oh and if you do stay make sure you try the Chinese in the village, it was divine!
