Cosy, perfectly appointed shepherds hut with everything you need for a stay. Beautiful setting and easy access. Aly was super helpful (and speedy) when we had issues with the heating (which dealt well with the -2C temps!)

Lovely place! We spent 3 nights here over new year and would highly recommend it. Amazing views and walks from the doorstep (hidden waterfalls were a gem!). The weather was unpredictable (high winds, heavy rain, then ice) but Richard’s communication with us was excellent - even before we arrived he contacted us to warn us of the bad weather and advised us to arrive earlier than planned so we weren’t travelling in the dark (the cottage is up a steep hill - easy to find when you have the directions, but I’m very glad we arrived in daylight!). There was snow on the day we left, and Richard kindly gritted the path so we could leave early. Mobile phone reception and WiFi was a bit patchy at times, but the cottage was clean, warm and comfortable, with a well-equipped kitchen and constant hot water. The log burner provided extra warmth in the evenings. There’s so much to see and do in the area, I wish we’d stayed longer! Would definitely come back again.

We both enjoyed our stay at this absolutely stunning home, one of the most scenic locations you could possibly find! Nick and Derek were the perfect hosts - always available to help if we needed it but also leaving us to our own devices. The chapel itself is the perfect place for a getaway - sympathetically restored and with everything you could need - it really is the perfect place to relax and get away from it all. Nick was also really easy to communicate with throughout the booking process and provided excellent directions to get us there. We can't wait to return for another stay and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone else - this really is a hidden gem.
