Absolutely perfect, great location for privacy, peace and quiet and visiting great locations along the coast. The cottage has everything we needed for our stay over Christmas, all we had to bring was our food and personal belongings. The cottage is well looked after and completely clean. Great location for star gazing too. Gillian is the perfect host, nothing is too much trouble for her and you feel that she cares about you enjoying your stay. Will definitely look to return again. Thank you Gillian for helping to make our visit so great.

Excellent property. Small but totally adequate for my wife and I for our 4 night stay. Very warm and comfortable in spite of the cold weather. Local restaurants and pubs in easy walking distance and close to Bamburgh castle. Looks as though a visit in Summer would be nice as the local beaches look delightful. Nice small courtyard which I’m sure would be nice in the summer. Would recommend this place to any couple looking for accommodation in this area.

We had a wonderful stay. The accommodation was clean, cosy, and well-equipped, with thoughtful amenities that made our visit extra comfortable. The owner was exceptionally helpful, ensuring we felt at ease from the moment we arrived. It’s clear a lot of care has gone into making this a welcoming space. Perfect, just perfect. Everything was as advertised. Julia answered any queries promptly. The Laughing Seagull was warm and cosy, our bed was very comfy, loved the shower. Our little dog loved the secure gardens. The welcome pack for the adults and the one for our dog was very much appreciated. Thank you Julia we had fab relaxing days.
