Wonderful escape to the mountains! House had everything to make you feel like you are in a charming log cabin, but with all the modern comforts, including spacious bedrooms, bathrooms and dining areas.  We enjoyed a weekend away as a family playing many of the board game choices and enjoying the beautiful view! The cabin was also perfect for our fur friends! We appreciated the fenced in yard that connected straight to the upper deck so you could easily let the dogs out on a cold morning without the hassle of having to leash and walk them! The family definitely voted that this is the house we will return to upon future trips! 

This home was perfect for my husband and I and our three kids. Modern, cozy, clean and spacious. Location is wonderful - safe and quiet in a neighborhood right by downtown. Well stocked with supplies to make our stay feel so smooth and hospitable -- dishwasher pods, dish soap, new sponge, laundry detergent, small toiletry kits, and oil and spices in the pantry for light cooking. Also, the big leather sectional couch in the living room is possibly one of the best couches our family has ever gotten to lounge on! Perfect for the end of a long day! Highly recommend!

We are so lucky to have found this home for our weekend in the mountains to attend a family wedding! The location was perfect and our stay was cozy and just what was needed. Everything was abundant—from towels and linens to fresh air and white squirrels! This is truly a special home with great hosts.

First, I’d like to thank Laura and Paul for being so responsive and accommodating to my family and me. They truly made our stay memorable. We booked our trip in December and had an issue that prompted the need to reschedule. Laura and Paul were able to make the change in seconds. Then, when a snowstorm was approaching, they made sure we were accommodated and able to arrive safely. The home was beautiful, just as pictured. We felt right at home, and the space was welcoming. We were extremely comfortable! We watched the snow fall, and the kids had a great time playing outside with the sleds provided. Everything was in tip-top shape. It was honestly the best Airbnb experience we've ever had. We look forward to rebooking in the future whenever we travel back to Boone

Beautiful little house and extremely convenient to Asheville / I-26, worked perfectly as a home base while we were in town for an music festival in the city. The house itself is very new and neat as a pin, quite comfortable for our weekend stay and surrounded by rolling hills of old farmland. We were greeted each morning by deer in the front yard, and enjoyed stargazing under the sycamores every clear evening. One thing to note: although the property itself feels rural, it is very close to a truck stop and the highway, so it's not always peaceful outside; we didn't really mind but something to note for guests who prefer seclusion and solitude. Inside, however, is cozy and well-appointed, with comfy linens and lots of windows to take in the views. We loved the dormer window with views of the nearby mountains that looked like a painting! Would definitely stay here again, especially with the easy 20ish minute drive to Asheville.

Our stay was wonderful! The place is gorgeous, clean, and well equipped. Pictures don’t do it justice. We will definitely be back. Jacqueline & Dan were extremely helpful and responsive. They were even flexible with our check-in time - we had to arrive a little early because of anticipated snow. Highly recommend!!

The condo was amazing. It was a recommendation from a friend and didn’t disappoint. The kitchen had all the necessities. The beds were comfy and pillows exceptional. If we come back to Banner Elk we would stay here again. It’s a perfect location between both mountains. Brian was helpful and communicative for all our needs.
