Everything was solid. You pay a premium in Nyuh Kuning so don’t expect luxury - the rooms and bathrooms are a little dated and dark. But everything was reasonably well looked after. The grounds felt very peaceful and secure. The rooms were super spacious, the beds were comfy, and the air con worked great.

So beautiful apartment !!! Definitely the money worth

Host + location + Accommodations… gotta say it’s really worth all the great reviews! I was sad to leave. It’s worth a longer stay. You may find cheaper but you will not find better! An occupant of another Villa rudely “borrowed” my scooter helmet off my bike but the host was quick to track them down and have it returned with ZERO drama. I love how they were so proactive. Cleaning is wonderful! Very proactive & efficient. Only issue would be cleaning on days that are not listed as cleaning days. If I know my room is being entered to clean, I would put away personal & work materials. I asked them not to do that and they were fine with that. *Gecko Alert - I am not one for lizards so at first it was a bit much seeing so many tiny geckos outside but none made it in. They do a great job keeping place clean and clear. I alerted them to a small space in window where gecko kept running in & out… they were quick to take care of sealing it. I would recommend & I will be back!

We had the most incredible stay at this luxurious villa in Ubud, in Bali. The location was serene and peaceful, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The villa itself was beautifully designed with every detail considered, offering the ultimate comfort and style. What truly made our stay unforgettable was the warmth and hospitality of our hosts, Agus’s and co-host Ayu as much as their team!! They went above and beyond to make us feel at home, offering helpful tips and making sure we had everything we needed. Their kindness and dedication truly set this experience apart. We can't recommend this villa enough and can't wait to come back!

This Apartment ist really something. It seduced me deeply already by the pictures and hyptnotized me inbetween seconds. I immediately could see myself living there, not "only staying". This charme of the place is even more intense in real. The space to breathe, exist and create is given and I feel very gifted, that I get the opportunity to be a part of Ubud now. Every single detail of the apartment is enlivened, chosen with that kind of taste, that only comes deeply from the heart. Words are not enough to describe this very special feeling of literally arriving. Loved this accommodation so much. The garden and space is beautifully designed to give a sense of privacy, the kitchen was huge and perfect, AC worked wonderfully, water was hot, and I enjoyed all of the small design touches. Even the books that were left behind on the coffee table were high quality! I had a couple of questions/requests that the staff was responsive to. Suksma sekali 🙏🙏🙏

Nyomans villa was so perfect. It’s very quiet and so beautiful. Breakfast included was delightful and so was the staff. Indra drove us to town when we needed something. Just ten minutes away. He spoke great English and had a good sense of humor. In all my travels this villa was the best. I’ll tell all my friends. Thanks again.

This was a superb experience living for a month within a Balinese family compound. It was a great location for walking to Ubud and had a selection of restaurant/cafes closeby. A variety of Beautiful spas were also close for treatments. The accomodation had a swimming pool which we used daily and a family shop which was very convenient. All of the Balinese family members were so lovely and welcoming that we cant wait to return for another holiday.

I had an amazing time at Putu's place, he is very hospitable and friendly and taught me and my friend some Indonesian, it was a great immersion in Balinese culture. The space is spacious and clean, the location was very convenient, close to the center, and away from the noise of the city. You can rent bikes with the host at a good price and he can take care of its service if needed.

Thank you for a stay in this beautiful little house with its own garden. Nyoman and his family helped me to find the place, by picking me up on a scooter at the main road. The house is a bit away from the main hectic traffic in Ubud and still very close to the town and cafés. I was travelling alone and prefered to walk the pretty short way from the main road to the house whilst it was still light. One evening when I wanted to go home late, Nyoman picked me up on his scooter in one end of Ubud and drove me back to the house. Very easy to arrange and very kind of him :) The house has a beautiful garden, a neat outdoor kitchen, air condation, spacious bathroom, good bed.. It's a little gem in Ubud, I would say, if you want some nights in a more private, withdrawn setting than e.g. a dormitory elsewhere. Thank you Nyoman and your family :)

harta’s and family is a nice person, and the villa condition is good and clean. but the location is hard to reach, and paid parking area

We had a great stay, beautiful grounds and very comfy beds. My son had fun playing with his ball lots of interior/exterior space. The swimming pool was gorgeous and private. Location was great for Bali Zoo, Bali Bird and Reptile park and Butterfly park. Only difficulty was self catering due to lack of local restaurants and not a lot of selection from the supermarket. We had an amazing visit to their family art gallery. We loved it and definitely would be back, thank you!

A great place to stay away from the traffic of Ubud but an easy walk, or motorbike ride into town. Lovely place, very comfortable bed and pillow 😊. Kadeks house looks into the garden and pool area, as does the upstairs guest apartment but the curtains were mostly pulled and it feels like you are in your own private oasis. Thanks for your hospitality and sharing your piece of paradise

The house is wonderfully build, great vintage details and with all modern necessity's. The spacious building style is really calming and is set up according to balinese hindoe tradition. Wayan P is a very friendly host and local artist, often busy with ceremony's and the local community but alway at our service! He is very knowledgeable about the area and Bali itself, he designed the house himself and can tell you all about its environmental friendly build, the reused the wood and colonial artefacts. I feel like this sustainable way of building really fits the lifestyle for respectful tourists in Ubud and I feel honoured to have stayed here.

The staff all speak fluent English and are super helpful. They even have walkie talkies so that they can get you what you need PRONTO! great experience

My expectations were exceeded with this booking considering the cheap price. The hosts are very friendly and helpful, they even gifted to me and to other guests platters of fruit and snacks from their ceremonies! This place is great for long stays, I can highly recommend.

Excellent few days stay here, location was great. Just off the main road but nice & quiet. Room was clean & hosts very responsive.

Loved my stay at tropical hideaway apartment. The host has thought of absolutely everything, to not only feel like a home away from home so you have everything you’ll ever need to feel comfortable and at ease, but to also makes you feel like you are truly on holiday, being only a 3 min walk from the beach & clubs, adorning cool beachy vibes, comfortable & spacious with a touch of indulgence thanks to the large concrete tub. Heaven! Last but not least, loved working from the desk that overlooked the horse stables, to which you could hear the pleasant sounds horses make. Definitely will be back again. Thanks so much!

I had an amazing stay at this beautiful home in the heart of ubud! The family are so lovely and made me feel at home away from home. Extended my stay here twice and was sad to be leaving! Very peaceful but close to everything, including yoga barn. Thank you and hopefully will be back one day! :)
