House vacation rentals in Ghent, Norfolk

We really enjoyed staying at the golden hour! The hosts were very responsive and helpful! They had sound machines in every bedroom which if you have kids is a big deal. The toys and kids activities there were a big hit! The pools are pristine and the whole outdoor area is very nice! Very short walk to beach which was also convenient! They literally thought of everything, if you forgot something chances are they had it! Definitely recommend staying here if you have children and want a nice low key place to stay!

Awesome location on a quiet road close to the beach, restaurants and grocery store. Perfectly appointed accommodations as pictured. Appreciated the cleaning supplies and travel size toiletries. We will definitely stay again!

We enjoyed a 4 night stay at Paint the Beach Pink in January 2025. The house completely met the description provided by host Bradley. It snowed during our stay and quite quickly, Bradley arranged to have the stairs to the house, and the driveway, cleared. So easily accessible to the VA Beach Boardwalk and a short drive from other activities in the area (e.g., museums). We took advantage of our stay to partake of VA Beach Restaurant Week.

A Very Pleasant Place to stay. Secluded with a Nice Pond and Saltwater Pool. Very Pleasant Hosts Mike and Courtney! Nice and clean Inside. Great communications with Alice Also! We hope to visit again! Highly Recommended! Great place to stay! We came to Visit Nas Oceana for Annual Airshow! Not far away! Hope to return Next year!

Lots of stairs but otherwise a wonderful home with the most amazing sunset views. Very comfortable and lots of things available that helped us to be comfortable and have a wonderful Christmas holiday with our family of all ages. Would love to stay during the summer months. A group of 12 of us, 4 different families, from different parts of the country were in town for my daughter's wedding and our original reservation for a place to stay fell through. Chastin was willing and able to accommodate us last minute. The house was clean and kitchen stocked well with kitchenware. The place was perfect for our gathering. While we were not involved in wedding activites, it was the perfect place for us to hang out and reunite with each other. The property is beautiful, and a perfect place for children to explore and adults to hang out in the various indoor and outdoor sitting areas. The house had more than enough room for all of us. We were thankful that our previous reservation did not work out as we feel that staying at Chastin's place was meant to be. I would book again in a heartbeat if we have another opportunity for family gathering in Virginia Beach.

Denise and her dog Murphy were incredible host. The air bnb was comfortable and relaxing, Denise really goes out of her way to make you feel comfortable. Provides coffee, water, and light breakfast options. Really was a relaxing stay and there was nothing better then waking up and getting into the pool. 100% recommend

Extremely clean house, cozy just like the pictures, quite and safe neighborhood. Great restaurants nearby. Pefect for my family of 10. We were in town for my grandmother's burial. They didn't mind a few local family members to visit with approval. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay.

Holly and John are amazing, communicative hosts with a beautiful house. A block from the beach. An inviting sunroom. Most importantly everything was clean and all of the amenities and appliances worked exactly as described. We will definitely check for with John and Holly first, before our next visit to the area.

We stayed at Pinch Me for a family get together. Lots f room so we could all have some private space as well meeting areas. LARGE kitchen and dining table allowed us to cook and eat together. Also had beach access right across a very quiet street. I would absolutely recommend this house.

This place was perfect for our stay. It's in a great location for our visit with relatives over the holidays and had just the right space and amenities to host our family of five comfortably. This is the second time my family has stayed at one of Bonnie’s places and it was fantastic. The house was spacious and the yard was enjoyed by all. The shared pier was a great spot for our teens to take pictures and the shared beach was perfect for the littles to swim and play in the sand. Sharmane house worked well for us! 5 adults and 5 kids was a bit of a tight fit, but with two adults taking a couch each, we made it work! The house is clean, everything works, and the price is right. Thanks Sharmane!

If you are looking for a peaceful getaway on the water where you can unwind or explore the Norfolk/Portsmouth/Chesapeake/VA Beach area…look no further: this home is a gem. Even though in a neighborhood; the yard is secluded and the perfect place to relax and leave the chaos of life behind. Our host was charming and helpful and super communicative. Our family of 5 absolutely adored our stay and would highly recommend! Downtown Portsmouth is quaint and has some great eating establishments as well as eat access to the ferry over to Norfolk. Grocery shopping is very easy with a Kroger, Super Walmart & Food Lion all close by. I would stay here all over again if we’re ever back in the area. The home was large and welcoming for our family stay during the holidays. Despite its proximity to major roads like 17 and Warwick Blvd, the house was quiet and buffered from traffic noise. Great location-- very close to the Mariner's Museum, VA Living Museum, and Christopher Newport University. It had wonderful amentities, like a swing set and a peaceful water feature in the backyard, both of which delighted the kids. The house was immaculate and comfortable, and we felt right at home. Xiang was responsive and accommodating for our larger family's needs. Would absolutely stay here again.

Our family is from Virginia Beach, and since some of us had moved out of the area since our upbringing, we wanted a spot near the ocean during the holidays to visit with our family in the area and enjoy a brief beach walk in the winter air! We were two families-- a family with four children, and another with our grown daughter and her partner. The place was exactly as described and Betsy was highly responsive and communicative. We had no issues during our short stay, and it provided just the right amount of space for us to be with one another, enjoy the nearby sandy beach, and travel to nearby relatives. We would definitely come again!
