I had a fantastic stay at Bumith Place! The property was incredibly clean and well-maintained, which made me feel right at home. Everything was exactly as described, and I was impressed with the attention to detail. The location was great, and the amenities provided were perfect for my needs. Given the quality of the stay, I definitely felt it was worth the price. I highly recommend Bumith Place to anyone looking for a comfortable, clean, and affordable place to stay!

An eclectic Villa in the midst of nature and tranquil surroundings. The Villa spotless clean with great individual furniture in all rooms. Great verndah to sit and soak in the surroundings. Nice pool with loads of privacy. Asanka the caretaker is very responsive and discreet and keeps the place ticking . Kanthi rustles up some amazing cuisine whether for breakfast , lunch or dinner … short distance to the beach and restaurants etc … Highlight was the in house dog Patsy .. in all a perfect getaway !! Well done Olivia for making it a home away from home…

Puzzle Beach House is an idyllic villa on one of the most stunning beaches in the area- long stretch of golden sand which very often we had to ourselves. The photos don’t do it justice- it’s more beautiful in real life and tastefully designed and decorated. We were 4 adults and 2 children and I was happy to realise upon arrival that the children’s bedroom was almost adjoined to one of the main bedrooms through a jack and Jill style bathroom and the TV room. We felt right at home- thanks to the location but mainly due to the amazing Suresh and Udesh. We have visited Sri Lanka 7 times before and never had such attentive and excellent hosts. The service and cooking was 5*! We will most definitely be back. Thank you Dale, Sabrina, Suresh and Udesh!

AMAZING PRIVATE LITTLE BEACH WILLA! Okey this was the best stay we had in whole Sri Lanka, these beautiful mini houses are located on this amazing private beach where you can enjoy beautiful sunsets in privacy. If you want to go to more “loud” touristic places you can find that just a 5min tuk tuk drive away. If we ever come back to Sri Lanka we will be definitely staying here again since it is a little place of paradise in beautiful Sri Lanka. We also must say that the owners are super kind and nice to have a chat with 😊

Where do I even begin? From the start, Hasitha made us feel we’d chosen the perfect stay. Responsive, kind, and accommodating, he provided excellent tips on what to do, see, and eat. The property itself felt like a warm hug. Surrounded by lush paddy fields, a lotus pond, and vibrant greenery, it offered breathtaking views of sunrise and sunset. 🌻 The design combines comfort and charm, with spacious rooms, an efficient kitchen, and thoughtful touches like a washing machine. Mornings were magical—waking to birdsong and the golden glow of sunrise over the fields. Evenings, with fiery sunsets and calm breezes, were equally enchanting. The caretaker added to the experience with warm smiles and traditional Sri Lankan breakfasts. Hasitha even arranged a visit to his brother’s tea plantation—a memorable highlight. Two days weren’t enough. This wasn’t just a stay; it was a soul-refreshing experience we’ll always treasure. Highly recommended for anyone seeking peace and authenticity ❤️✨

Such a charming villa with an amazing private pool and lovely gardens! We loved our stay at the Medusa Bungalow. Amilani is an excellent host and very helpful. The breakfast (paid additional) is outstanding and huge in portions. We were offered a vegan option, which was much appreciated. The villa is very spacious. There are 3 bedrooms (2 with king beds +1 single bedroom). The kitchen is fully equipped. The sit-out dining table in the gardens is a lovely addition. The pool and the gardens are incredible and very well maintained. You need a car to move around. The place is about 25 mins from the Unawatuna beach. Thank you for the wonderful stay and some lovely memories!!

This stay was peacefully surrounded by rice fields - only a 15-20 minute walk away from the beach and main road. You get a private, standalone house with well-equipped kitchen (can always ask for more equipment from their professional kitchen in the main house) and very expansive bathroom. The wifi is well enough to work online and do video calls. In the shared lounge area you can also find a peaceful spot to read or do some work at a dedicated desk. The pool was cleaned multiple times a day and the staff was respectful and kind. Sampath managed the place with kindness and hospitality. He reacted very quickly to our messages and requests. He even helped us out to do groceries, offered to do take-out for us when we had to work one evening, recommended restaurants in the area and connected us with a place for our visa extension. You never felt that you were bothering Sampath and he came by to discretely check if all was OK for us each morning and evening (without being intrusive).
