Villa vacation rentals in Gaiola Island

the villa was as described. keep in mind this is a mountain side villa that involves a lot of inclined walking. Ride share apps work, but can get a little pricey. A rental car would be good but the roads are narrow. The view from the villa is incredible. It's about a 10 minute walk to the center of Vico equence. there is also a beautiful hiking trail just up the road from the villa. The host was very helpful. Everything from ride share to restaurant reservations. Great response time. Overall the best rental experience.

Massimo is a wonderful host. Its obvious he enjoys welcoming guests. During our holiday, we kept asking for his advice and he was always on hand to help us. This made us feel very secure. On the practical side: When we arrived at the flat he had provided us with so many useful things like jams, bread, milk, olive oil, toilet roll, washing up stuff, shampoo and mosquito stuff. The only thing to note is that the flat is located in a Marina which is a slight distance from the 'town' of Vica Equense. There is a local bus that goes from the Marina but it's sometimes full. If any of your party have mobility problems then you need to consider that. We loved coming back to the peace of the Marina and its lovely restaurants.

It was a great time spending time at this place! The views and sunsets are just spectacular. The rooftop terasse is sublime and therés a great pool and patio area also! Paola is super nice and friendly! Great service from Don Giulio’s Luigi too! We asked them if we could have dinner there from their restaurant even though it was closed and they made it happened! Super service!! I recommand! Thank you Paola!!

My family and I stayed at this location and it was a fantastic stay for our time in Naples. Everyone was taken aback by how beautiful and large the space was including the terrace. Dominico was very responsive and helpful. He even came to unclog a toilet for us. There is ample space for a large family to live and entertain and just enjoy the beauty of Naples. There's a great beach within walking distance where the locals go. They also rent kayaks there for the bay of Naples. The gelateria and cafe at the top of the hill are fantastic! Finally there's a pharmacy and a grocery store all within walking distance. There are 2 major businesses lines at the top as well. The only thing I would say to warn other guests about is the neighbor in the unit below. The best thing I can say is to keep the noise to a minimum as much as possible at night and simply ignore the woman below. Don't let her detract from your vacation because this house and location are wonderful. Thanks again Dominico!

Beautiful property. The Gardens the house the views are all outstanding. We enjoyed our stay! Mike was a perfect host. We will definitely come back. The region has so much history.

Paolo and Grazia were very proactive with their information. The apartment is really well furnished with an honesty shop for essentials and lots of equipment. The air-conditioning was great and the garden was so peaceful (with a very friendly cat). All in all this was a great place to stay. Sant'Agnello is a quieter resort but just 1 stop from Sorrento and a range of lovely restaurants within walking distance.

A beautiful place to stay with great views. The beds were very comfortable and it was very peaceful. It was great to have parking and it’s well placed for sight-seeing. Gennaro was really helpful with suggestions and responsive to messages and helping us out.

Terrific 3 br 3 ba apartment with large private balcony. Giuseppe and Carmela were fantastic caring hosts, left us a large fruit platter and a stocked fridge, helped us get to the train station, just super responsive and nice people. Vico Equence and the harbor are a little away from Sorrento but everything is reasonably close, and we enjoyed the privacy and calmness of the area after bustling Rome, etc. There are a few good restaurants nearby. The place is very clean, comfortable overall the best of 4 places we stayed in Italy, hands down.

We had a fantastic holiday at Lorenzo’s house. From the long list of great recommendations he sent before we’d arrived, to his welcoming messages once we’d landed - Lorenzo was so warm and friendly. We couldn’t have asked for a better host. The house was great - very clean, loads of space, incredible views and very generous welcome pack of food and drink. Lorenzo recommended guides to show us round Pompeii and to capri, and places to go, even booked restaurants for us. We really couldn’t have asked for more. Our only sad point was leaving!

Annalisa and Gennaro were amazing hosts and were very friendly and responsive. Upon arrival, Annalisa showed us around the house and organized dinner and a shuttle to take us there and pick us up. The house and the view was indescribable - we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would come back again in a heartbeat. Thank you Annalisa and Gennaro! ♥️

We absolutely loved the garden and the pool, and Enzo’s dad was very sweet. The house was slightly shabby, but the bedrooms were comfortable and the air conditioning was really great. It was perfect for a family holiday, and we would definitely return to Ischia. The mini market is extremely useful and convenient. It was confusing that both the listing address and the map on the listing displayed different incorrect addresses. The last message Enzo sent contained the correct address, but it still left us confused and lost on arrival as the taxi driver had no idea where the house was. Luckily Enzo’s dad came and saved us. The kitchen was mostly well equipped, but lacked enough glasses, mugs and serving dishes to make cooking and serving family meals easy. However, we would still highly recommend the villa as the garden and pool made it a fabulous holiday destination. We loved Ischia. Enzo’s dad brought us homemade wine and eggs from the garden, and made us feel very welcome- many thanks!

We loved staying at Tina’s place. It was stunning but at the same time very comfortable. We all slept very well. The bedrooms were beautiful and each had their own bathroom or ensuite. The pool was great as well. Tina was such a lovely and helpful host. She obviously cares about her guests and the villa. We loved the location and would recommend a car. It was so quiet compared to Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast. We would definitely recommend Tina’s place and would love to go back one day. Grazie Tina.

Francesca and Agostino are a great couple!! Very professional, friendly and prompt. They went extra mile to arrange for beautiful flowers and Cake for my daughter’s birthday! They were flexible with check in and check out times. The complimentary wine and goodies were fabulous! The wine and beer to buy at the accommodation was very helpful. The kitchen is very easy to use and plentiful stuff. Beach bag was also very handy. The beds were the best I have experienced so far. Lastly, amazing views!!! Showers could be better.

Thank you so much for our wonderful stay in Amalfi. We all had such a fantastic time. The house was perfect, and loved the privacy for the 4 bedrooms downstairs. Our private chef dinner night was delightful and the food was amazing. Thank you for being so accommodating to make sure our stay was superb! And thank you to Gerry for helping us navigate the area. We hope to get back in the future.

The views from the house are amazing!! Must watch sunsets! Large space house. Many patios!! Not walkable as we expected. 12-14 minute drive to amazing town of Sorrento! 4 minute drive to the awesome town of Massa Lubrense. We were tired from our travels to house at check in. Olympia made reservations for a nearby restaurant the owner of the restaurant picked us up!!! What service. We chartered a boat to Capri from Massa Lubrence NOT Sorrento. Very convenient!! We would definitely stay there again

We really enjoyed our stay. Carolina and her husband are very welcoming. They were full of attention to us (jam and orange pie coming directly from the garden,which offers an exceptional setting (swimming pool with views of the Vesuve.)Under no circumstances do we regret our choice. Do it again.

Sergio and his wife are very welcoming. The space with an outdoor dining area was as expected. The pool is a real plus and big enough to hang out. Kids loved cats. We're hoping to be back!

We were staying in Sorrento for a friend’s wedding - the wedding venue which we didn’t realise at the time of booking was opposite the Villa so location was perfect. It was easy to walk into the town centre about a 15 min walk. The Villa is very well appointed with plenty of room and great amenities. The outside area is also nicely presented - the big bonus here is that it is a gated community so also very safe Thanks for a fantastic stay it was home from home
