Villa vacation rentals in Gaiola Island

My family and I traveled to the Sorrento area for a cousin’s wedding. This villa was perfect for several adults and 3 kids. The view is absolutely beautiful and it was so nice waking up to such stunning views every morning. The home is spacious and the rooms are well kept. The house itself is well equipped and kitchen is stocked too. There is a very nice and long garden downstairs and the kids loved playing there. When we had an issue or a question, the hosts were very quick to respond and address our needs which was very helpful to us. The only thing is that parking is not allowed directly next to the villa, and we had to park outside the gate. But overall we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again if we are in the area again!

This villa has breathtaking views across the bay of Napoli! A huge terrace and panoramic windows to see Vesuvius, the city and Ischia, and sunsets over the island of Capri. The house itself is cozy, very clean, towels, warm blankets, olive oil, spices and snacks in the kitchen are provided - you can feel right at home. Angelina is a very accommodating host, responsive and happy to help with everything. She was so kind to get the fireplace cleaned for us so that we could actually light it for a super cozy atmosphere! Unfortunately we were still a bit cold at night because we did not buy enough dry firewood and the A/C units were not heating the place up enough - however, this is something that would only become a concern in the middle of winter. Note: WiFi and mobile reception are poor, so it's not a place you can work from, but perfect for digital detox! It's recommended to have a car because the roads are very steep in places. Overall we loved it and highly recommend! Grazie mille!

Schöne Wohnung, ausgestattet mit allem, was man so braucht. Klimaanlage in beiden Schlafzimmern und im Wohnzimmer. Ein grandioser Blick aufs Meer und den Vesuv von der tollen Dachterrasse aus - unser täglicher Sundowner! Sehr schöner Infinity-Pool, Parkplatz auf dem Gelände. Nicht zuletzt die sehr hilfsbereite und freundliche Gastgeberin Paola, die uns nicht nur bei unserer späten Ankunft noch mit Essen versorgt hat, sondern auch sonst immer ansprechbar und sehr hilfsbereit war. Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Urlaub hier!

Das absolute Highlight dieser Villa ist der Ausblick und die sensationellen Sonnenuntergänge, die man genießen kann. Das Haus selber ist architektonisch sowohl innen als auch außen außergewöhnlich. Der Garten ist sehr gepflegt und mit vielen wunderschönen Blumensträuchern und Oliven- und Zitronenbäumen angelegt. Der einzige kleine Makel ist die Küchenausstattung. Es gibt keine scharfen Küchenmesser und der Gasherd hat keine Power. Nichtsdestotrotz würden wir auf jeden Fall wiederkommen bzw. es weiterempfehlen.

Francesco’s place is ideal in every way. The beautiful seaside views, lovely grounds, Vesuvius, quiet, and proximity to the train station, shopping, and restaurants makes it the perfect location in Sorrento. The residence is spotlessly clean , very spacious, comfortable, well appointed, and quiet. With all that it’s the little things one usually finds in a five star hotel that makes the difference; an extra supply of towels , extra toiletries. Plus you can pick your own lemons and oranges! It’s hard to describe but the “feel” of the place was absolutely relaxing. If you are visiting Sorrento choose Francesco’s place - it’s wonderful.

My family and I stayed at this location and it was a fantastic stay for our time in Naples. Everyone was taken aback by how beautiful and large the space was including the terrace. Dominico was very responsive and helpful. He even came to unclog a toilet for us. There is ample space for a large family to live and entertain and just enjoy the beauty of Naples. There's a great beach within walking distance where the locals go. They also rent kayaks there for the bay of Naples. The gelateria and cafe at the top of the hill are fantastic! Finally there's a pharmacy and a grocery store all within walking distance. There are 2 major businesses lines at the top as well. The only thing I would say to warn other guests about is the neighbor in the unit below. The best thing I can say is to keep the noise to a minimum as much as possible at night and simply ignore the woman below. Don't let her detract from your vacation because this house and location are wonderful. Thanks again Dominico!

My family of 6 adults had a wonderful stay here! Great location & very clean & spacious house. Just a 15 minute down hill walk to the square. I never walked back up so I can’t comment on that. Giuseppe’s was a wonderful host. Had a bottle of champagne & flowers (for International Women’s Day) waiting for us! Highly recommend using his transfer service. No issues finding this place with their help!

La casa è a dir poco stupenda, raffinata e ricercata nei dettagli architettonici nonchè negli arredi tutt'altro che commerciali! La posizione si commenta da sola e le foto non le fanno giustizia. Un luogo da sogno per godere appieno della bellezza del territorio. L'ottima ospitalità e carineria di Michele per il check-in e check-out completano il quadro. L'unico dramma è il dover andare via.

A great stay! Luigi was very welcoming and waited up late to let us in after a long flight delay, even delivering us some fresh pastries in the morning. The villa was exactly as described with great views of the sea. The roads were very narrow up to the house so we parked ~100m away from the house and walked up the hill.

Massimo is a wonderful host. Its obvious he enjoys welcoming guests. During our holiday, we kept asking for his advice and he was always on hand to help us. This made us feel very secure. On the practical side: When we arrived at the flat he had provided us with so many useful things like jams, bread, milk, olive oil, toilet roll, washing up stuff, shampoo and mosquito stuff. The only thing to note is that the flat is located in a Marina which is a slight distance from the 'town' of Vica Equense. There is a local bus that goes from the Marina but it's sometimes full. If any of your party have mobility problems then you need to consider that. We loved coming back to the peace of the Marina and its lovely restaurants.

We stayed at Simona’s place 5 days and had daily tours in near towns including Pompei, Amalfi coast, Sorento and Napoli etc. The house has amazing view, has private parking, beautiful garden and you can walk stairs up to the small town Vico Equense. Apparently you can walk down to the beach but we didn’t go there. We stayed in winter and the house had decent heating system. Simona is an excellent host. Absolutely no exaggeration in the ratings you see. They walked us through the house during checking in and very responsive when we had questions both before coming and during the stay. IT was a very lovely visit and we strongly recommend.

This is a fantastic house with everything you could need for a large family. The hosts were super responsive to any questions we had. It’s a 30min walk to Sorrento or you can take trains easily. We took trains from piano to Naples, Pompeii and Herculaneum and it was easy to do. It was winter when we stayed but the pool would be fabulous in summer. House was warm and cosy for the winter months. Would definitely recommend.

House is in a great location, easy to get to Sorrento by train/buses. The taxi office round the corner is great too if you wish to go further out!

Stayed at this villa with 8 adults and had plenty of space. Our host Pamela and Colomba were always very responsive with any enquires we had. The villa itself was clean with everything would you would expect for self catering. The pool was cleaned every day. The location was perfect for us to explore. Shops were on our doorstep and Sorrento main town walking distance. I would definitely stay here again.

Thank you Carla and Emilio for a lovely stay! The villa was well appointed and so comfortable to stay in. We found the full size washer and dryer and large refrigerator with ice maker very helpful. My husband fell in love with the outdoor kitchen and cooked wonderful dinners there. Thank you Emilio for bringing us delicious pastries to start our day! We easily drove our car to Sorrento each morning, parked outside the city center, and walked to the ferry port for day trips to Capri, Positano, and Amalfi. We also took a day trip to Pompeii. We were able to navigate the road up to the property with a small SUV but the smaller your rental car is, the better as the roads leading to the property are narrow and you will need to back into the driveway. The view of Sorrento, the bay and Mount Vesuvius were beautiful and each and every sunset was stunning.

Awesome place, it was worth every $ spent. It was even better in person. Carmela was very responsive and helpful. Great place to stay next stay would be definitely in Sorrento with the feeling Italy team.

A lovely villa set on the hillside with a view of the bay. We were a family of 8 adults and the villa accommodated us easily and had room to sleep more. It was spacious and spotlessly clean with beautiful garden and barbecue area. The pool was well maintained and the garden well kept. The kitchens were well stocked with all we needed and the villa had excellent air conditioning throughout. One of the bathrooms had a washing machine and there was a hanging area to dry. Immaculate bed linen and towels were provided. The villa owner greeted us upon arrival and was very helpful throughout our stay, he came halfway through our stay to ensure everything was ok and to clean the pool. He also brought us some homemade mozzarella, bread and prosciutto for us to enjoy. He made us very welcome. I would thoroughly recommend a stay at this villa and would return again.

Wij hebben genoten van een heerlijke week in het huis van Nunzia. Het is erg privé en heeft een geweldig uitzicht over Sorrento en de zee. Het huis voldeed volledig aan de verwachtingen. Het was meer dan ruim voor ons 4en (gezin met 2 kinderen van 9 en 11), alle kamers hadden airco en de keuken was voorzien van alle faciliteiten. De wasmachine was een fijne bijkomstigheid aangezien wij een roadtrip door Italië hebben gedaan. Het zwembad is een etage lager (veel trappen aanwezig vanaf de algemene parkeerplaats) en bij het zwembad waren 4 comfortabele ligstoelen en parasol. De locatie van het huis was heel fijn. Wij hebben uitstapjes gemaakt naar Capri, Positano, downtown Sorrento en Vico Equense. Het bereiken van het huis via Google was spannend gezien de smalle straatjes en onze Peugeot 3008. Wanneer je Zio Sam (leuk restaurant in de straat) als navigatie adres aangeeft, kom je via de goede kant aangereden en zijn de straten wat breder. Een aanrader om naartoe te gaan!

Séjour de 5 jours passé dans ce logement. Accueil impeccable et petites attentions agréables du proprio. Literie ++, propreté logement ++. On referait sans hésitation.

Sergio et sa femme sont très accueillants. Le logement avec espace repas extérieur était conforme à nos attentes. La piscine un vrai plus et suffisamment grande pour y passer du temps. Les enfants ont adoré les chats. Nous espérons revenir!

We were 2 families with several kids ranging from 5 to 14 years old. The house was extremely spacious and allowed everyone to have their own privacy. There are multiple beautiful outdoor patios to choose from around the house. It’s a quick walk to town for amenities or the bus to Sorrento and other locations. The absolute best part was our host Barbara. She was amazing and so communicative throughout the process, from booking to the last day. We felt very welcome. Don’t miss the chance to have her make dinner for your group. The delicious dinner she prepared and brought over with her daughter personally the highlight for me!! Such a great and special experience!!!

The house was great for my group! The house had plenty of room and lots of common areas to all be together. The pool was refreshing! And the view from the roof was beautiful! The host was super helpful!
