Castle vacation rentals in France

We spent the weekend with the family at the beginning of January: 10 adults and 5 children. We were very comfortable. There was plenty of room for both big and small. Two large living rooms are perfect. Suites with large beds very comfortable and well insulated. The room for our couple with the baby was well appointed at our request. Thank you very much Agnès for responsiveness and kindness . Spacious kitchen is very well equipped. The castle is very nice. Beautiful place, peaceful environment, surrounded by nature. We'd love to come back . Thanks to Thomas and Laetitia.

A big thank you to Cyntia and Guillaume for this wonderful WE in the heart of their beautiful home. We had an unforgettable stay with the family. We'll be back without hesitating. The house is perfectly sized for the number of beds. The little ones: The kitchen lacks nothing in dishes, utensils, condiments, ... All baby equipment is very nice: Umbrella bed, changing table, bathtub and high chair. It's all there to have a great time with family or friends. A big thank you!

Was lovely to stay here for a week. Everything is well arranged, and good reception. Enjoyed our stay at this location. Furthermore, the supermarket and other things are easy to drive to, so plenty to do in the area.

We had the most amazing stay. The host went above and beyond, even coming back to answer more questions about the castle and its history when we checked out. All the details made the stay more magical. Such a wonderful castle steeped in history. We will be back!

We had a great weekend with the family at Château de la Guimandière. The estate is beautiful and we photographed it under "all stitches". We enjoyed the fireplaces, very pleasant to the aperitif in the living room, and to the meals around the large table. The kids enjoyed the tennis court, ping pong table, and foosball table. They were running through the surrounding woods and paths, everything was perfect. Communication with François was very friendly and clear for instructions. François is a charming man and very attentive. Patricia's welcome is also very nice. Everything went wonderfully and we will all remember these good times spent at La Guimandière.

We would have thought we were in a five-star hotel with a few small touches that make you happy . The spa side is just perfect for relaxing with friends and family. Feel free to book. You can go with your eyes closed . They thought of everything. thank you ❤️ so much to both of you.

We absolutely loved staying in the chateau, it was a little gem. Everything was perfect for our laze-by-the-pool holiday. Next time we'll bring our bikes though, so we can get our croissants without a car journey!!

This is a real gem of a find. Seriously spacious bedrooms rooms and living space, all well equipped and tastefully furnished. The rural setting and views are fabulous and the horses next door delighted my children. Will definitely be telling my friends about this apartment (although might warn them about the 3 flights of stairs- views are worth it though!) Olivia

Not to be missed!!! This charming cottage is truly a pearl of tranquility and comfort. We had an amazing week with the family and we are all very happy with this choice. Gui and Carissa have, clearly, prepared the house carefully: comfortable beds, a splendid bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen, tools and consumables in abundance, the decor attentive to details... we see their attention in every little corner and you really feel at home. 3 small "points of attention": 1. the fireplace is not quite usable at the moment; 2.the sound insulation of the toilet is not very effective (can be inconvenient for groups that don't have a lot of privacy); 3.the network in the village is very weak. For the stay, no problem, the Wi-Fi is excellent, however to communicate our arrival with Maud it was complicated. In short, we highly recommend this picturesque house!

Our stay in Mr. Jean-Louis's Chateau Rauly was very, very good! The Chateau and the gardens are beautiful with an impressive entrance. Our dog was also very happy with all the gardens to play and run and even more from Bobbie's lovely company, the very nice Chateaudog!! Mr. Jean-Louis and his wife are very nice and nice people. They were always available to help or inform us about the area, gastronomy etc. At the same time, we had all our privacy in our apartment and terrace and we so we had a very good week and we lived a week ´like a God in France. but then…. in a nice Chateau!!! Thank you very much for everything Mr. Jean-Louis. We'll definitely see you again! See you soon! Jessy & Eric

First and foremost Lucie and her parents Annick and Pierre are greats hosts and super lovely. They were helpful and so welcoming. Perfect communication and always there when we need them. The chateau was a dream- peaceful and beautiful not to mention super clean! Our stay there was amazing and it’s perfect for family’s. Won’t hesitate to return! Absolutely beautiful place! The house and pool are gorgeous and so well-equipped. It's in a quiet location but there is a lovely small town 10 mins away. We would stay again!

It was a real pleasure to stay in the lavender gite in the grounds of the chateau Michael's renovating. What made our stay special was the warm and friendly hospitality from Michael and his friend Gabi, and the beautiful gardens he's created around the gites, the chateau and the swimming pool. It was a bit too chilly to use the pool in our stay, but it looked very inviting in better weather!

Beautiful home that perfectly suited our expectations. We were a large group of friends with small children: room for everyone and a perfectly protected exterior for children including the pool. Very nice large garden.

A beautiful two bedroom apartment in a historical Villa surrounded by a French style garden which we absolutely loved! We were welcomed by Damien and felt right at home in the flat. We loved big windows, lots of light, and attention to detail that Damien demonstrated by decorating a Christmas tree for us and preparing a welcome gift - some candies. The bathroom in the main bedroom is spacious and beautifully designed. We especially loved the combination of traditional elements and modernity, such as electric stove that looked like a traditional 19th century one. A fireplace is another great feature. It makes you feel like being in a French chateau. All in all, a great stay in a great place with kind and welcoming host. We can highly recommend the flat and Damien!

Annika is a perfect host. The chateau is amazing. We felt like royalty and enjoyed every moment in this stunning home.
