Monthly Rentals in Fochras Island

Big thank you to Tim and phillipa for letting us stay at short notice and Martin up the road for organising it too. This is the perfect place to stay for recharging, a lovely walk to the village that has a stores and pubs with lovely food available, lots of walks , beautiful beaches and friendly locals too. Great base to visit other places in north wales by car .The cottage was cosy and spotless and had everything anyone could wish for. We only wish we had more time. We would love to stay again!

We had a very comfortable happy stay over Christmas. The house was warm with loads of hot water for showers after chilly walks. The beds are comfortable with very nice linens. Kitchen is small but has everything needed. Welcome pack was generous. The village is pretty with pubs and places to eat a short walk from the house. We drove to Snowdon, one hour away, for a beautiful Xmas day hike to the top. It was fantastic! Would also recommend the Precipice walk and Torrent walk for much shorter beautiful hikes. These are close by. We really loved the house and area. Thank you Lindsey.

We had a great time. it's a fantastic place to stay. It's in a very quiet spot but less than 10 mins walk from the train station. Lovely views across the fields to the sea and great sunsets. Fantastic local walks and only a short drive to other fantastic walks. Martin was a great host, there when we needed and full of helpful information. The folder of info provided for guests is full of useful suggestions. The place is very cosy and the kitchen was well equipped, and you have the great views from the whole top floor. The bed was very comfy and we slept well. Thanks very much both.

We had an amazing stay at Carys's place the location is outstanding such a beautiful area and incredible peaceful. Carys was an excellent host and really went out of her way to make our stay special, there was a goodie basket filled with treats on arrival as well as a beautiful Christmas tree in the lounge , really felt homely. Carys came out of her way to deliver more firewood to the house when needed and was super responsive. We loved our time there!
