Family-friendly vacation rentals in Florida

We stayed here for a week with our family of 4 and had a wonderful stay. The home is exactly as pictured and described. The rooftop terrace and hot tub were a perfect way to unwind. We also enjoyed the well-kept community pool and beautiful local beaches... all the towels and beach gear were provided. Unfortunately, our child got sick with the flu as we arrived, but Carol was an amazingly responsive host. She helped us locate a pharmacy that was open on Christmas Day and a local ER. She even checked in with us afterward (very thoughtful). The backup generators were very much appreciated during the power outage. Appliances, lights, and outlets functioned throughout. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a great time and would definitely recommend this place! It’s right on the Main Street, close walking distance from ferry drop off and numerous restaurants. The dock and outside area are awesome. The place was clean and easy to check in.

Waldo was a wonderful host. We stayed for an extended period, and he was always available and responsive. Waldo provided some local recommendations that were absolutely wonderful. He is truly knowledgable and deeply rooted in the Vieques community. The property is beautiful, quiet, and peaceful. We enjoyed waking up each morning and looking out onto a yard full of splendid trees and hearing the sounds of birds.

We had an incredible stay at this Airbnb! The surroundings were absolutely beautiful, offering stunning views that took our breath away. It was incredibly peaceful, making it the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The highlight was definitely the amazing pool, where we spent hours relaxing and enjoying the serene atmosphere. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy nature at its finest!

Absolutely stunning views. Great location. Lots of room for everyone.

There are very few affordable two bed/two bath houses for rent on Culebra. While this house is small, it works well for two couples because each bedroom has an adjoining bathroom. The rental house is the entire upstairs portion of the building. The owner, Jaime, lives downstairs. And the manager, DiDi, lives in an apartment that is also downstairs of the rental. The parking space is at an elevation nearer to the downstairs elevation. There is a set of steps from the parking spot to the rental. We found the beach chairs and the coolers provided to be quite useful. However, the assorted snorkeling gear was not in good enough condition to be useful to us. The kitchen appliances and utensils were in excellent condition. The furniture and beds were comfortable and in good condition. The morning view of the sunrise was most excellent. The showers were hot and very much appreciated. During the ten days that our group was at the house we did not experience any electrical outage.

As first time Airbnb users, we were hesitant to use the platform. But all in all, things turned out fine. Our hosts were communicative and responsive, especially when a LUMA Energy brown-out one night left us wondering what was happening. We had room to spread out, a kitchen for cooking when we chose to and a choice of eating/lounging indoors in the living room, the dining area or outside in the backyard patio. Breakfast al fresco was wonderful. The house was clean, and we hope we left it as clean as we would our own home. We already knew Esperanza was the best launching point for our reasons to visit Vieques: the so-numerous-you-can’t-try-them-all south-facing beaches and the variety of restaurants along the Malecon. Casa Orquidea gave us easy access to both. Our only off-note was the dogs' barking next door, which of course our hosts have no control over. We had visited Vieques twice before. This was the best accommodation we’ve booked by far.

Pepper was a delight! He was exceptionally responsive, helpful, and we loved his pets too. His place was nice with a great view. Close to Fajardo and Luquillo.

James is a very responsive host. The home is walking distance to Seven seas beach. it is also close to Bio luminescent bay kayak tours. We enjoyed our stay.

We stayed in this Property in December 2024. We’re Family of five and this Property was perfect for us. The host was amazing and provided so many great recommendations for restaurants, beaches, and just places to see. The property was extremely clean and well stocked. Love the surroundings and how peaceful. The pool was definitely a huge plus to the Property and we used it in the evenings to just chill. It’s located within five minute drive from the area and was very easy tofind it. I would greatly recommend to anyone who is traveling to the island.

Wonderful house in a great location near town! Victor was very responsive and answered all questions relating to house and the car rental we did through the Bravos Boyz. Houses were very clean. My only complaint would be the outdoor showers needed a better wipe down prior to us checking in. But we also understand that things outside get dirty. We spent most of our time outside in the living area by the pool, it was such a great place to hang out! The pool had some sun, some shade, which was nice. They had a collection of beach chairs, a couple beach umbrellas, and coolers for use when headed to the beach. That was very convenient. Overall, it was a terrific setup for our group of nine adults. If I ever make it back to Vieques, I would love to stay here again!

Perfect paradise in Destino! From pool views, evening stargazing, short drives to pristine beaches… we could not have asked for a better week stay!! Situated between San Isabel and Esperanza, bumpy backroads made for fantastic adventures. Peacocks on the rooftop in the morning, lizards in the evening, and horses making their way to the gate to say hello :) we hope to be back soon and Villa Destino is the place to be!! 10 stars all around!!!

A truly 5 star Air BNB. A beautiful house with everything you need for a perfect island vacation. We had an amazing time hanging out by in pool, playing games and grilling. The view from the deck/pool is incredible and it continues into the night with the stars and milky way. There was plenty of space for our group of 6, and the couch pulls out into a bed. There is also air conditioning in the bedrooms, which made the 85 degree nights comfortable. The place also had beach chairs, towels and snorkeling gear for 6 people. Julie and Hannah were always responsive, and gave awesome local recommendations and advice. We will definitely be back in the future.

The house was amazing. It had all that we needed to have a wonderful day. Literally a three minute walk from tropical beach and very close to restaurants and shopping either in Naguabo or Humacao we chose this location since we were traveling to Culebra and you are literally 20 minutes away from the ferry if you’re planning to go to Culebra or Vieques the host were amazing literally answered within minutes to any of our questions will definitely be staying here again!!!

Julius and his wife were wonderful, as was his helper. Beautiful backyard and beach access, we loved the area. Julius' food recommendations were spot on. Glad we got to meet you both, thanks for the great stay on our honeymoon, my bride was pleasantly surprised!

Absolutely stunning. The view was amazing. I wish I could have stayed there forever. The convenience of having each casita on one property was perfect for our family. Space to get together and spend time apart. I would 1000% recommend this property to anyone and am already looking to book again this year.
