This was a wonderful stay with Mary and her partner who both made me feel welcome and at home. Both the peaceful aesthetic of the 'hut' combined with occasional appearance of some very well behaved and good natured animal companions made this stay unforgettable. I highly recommend the 'hut' to anyone looking for a pleasant experience in this quaint seaside getaway.

Absolutely lovely cottage, Can’t fault it. In walking distance to all the pubs in the village,which are all dog friendly,food and beer in all was excellent.Great beaches nearby brilliant ideal if you have a dog , would love to go back in the summer months .

We stayed in The Croft for the festive period whilst we were visiting relatives and it couldn’t have been a more enjoyable experience. The place was exactly as described and was clean throughout. The owners even put a few festive decorations up for us which was a nice touch. The place itself is situated in the heart of the village just back off the main road, very secluded and quiet, and just a stones throw away from local amenities i.e. village shop, pub and a bar/cafe. Seaside towns such as Scarborough and Filey are within driving distance (10/15 mins) and if you were looking for a more rural setting, Seamer is a quaint little village that’s got everything you would need. Will definitely be coming back to stay here another time.

We had an amazing stay at Carolyn's place. We were made to feel very welcome and Carolyn and Steve were always very helpful and responsive. The home is in a brilliant location, it's peaceful and quiet but close to the seaside and various activities. The photos don't do the size of the home justice and there was more than enough room for four of us and a dog and we had everything we needed in the home. I would highly recommend visiting as I know everyone would enjoy the time they spend here. Thank you for a wonderful holiday.
