Vacation rentals in Finland State Forest

This was our second stay here and, like the first time, everything was cozy and clean. The view of the lake is beautiful and listening to the waves is comforting as ever. Colette and Justin were also super responsive when we needed anything. Thanks so much!

This is an AMAZING place! It was very clean and decorated so nicely. It really felt like a north woods getaway. The perfect home base for us to take in the North Shore in its winter glory. Amy was responsive and friendly. I honestly wish my house were decorated like hers. Thank you very much for having us! I can’t recommend this place enough. One of my favorite Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed in.

Megan was very good with communication. The location was convenient with plenty of things to do around. Megan provides everything you would need for your stay. The property is beautiful with gorgeous views of Superior. It is very spacious as well with plenty of space for everyone. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a very relaxing long weekend at Kevin's place in Bayfield. Very close to town while being quiet and private! Great kitchen for cooking and hanging out. We loved the porch for views of the island and stargazing!

Cozy and comfortable! The beds were pretty firm, with plenty of pillows. Clean and well stocked with what you need to cook for people. The open kitchen is a perfect size for making food for the group, so you don't always have to eat out. We forgot to bring our crockpot (whoops) and were thankful the hosts had one at the listing! Either drip or Keurig coffee options! Thumbs up for that. Excellent storage space for coolers and luggage. I love the separate rooms for privacy—a great view of Lake Superior harbor with a deck—and many seating options in the main room for people to hang out and socialize. It's private, quiet, and just a charming place. We stayed for a weekend with our teenage son and his friends so they could hike the North Shore to celebrate his birthday, and we enjoyed our stay immensely. The boys LOVED the outdoor hot tub in the COLD weather! We discovered a cool cocktail bar in Two Harbors, too. We will be back here again if we have another group and would recommend 100%.

Was a great stay for one night! There were also plenty of fun activity recommendations. Amanda was super responsive and understanding as a host. Would definitely recommend her cozy place for a north shore stay and for its location near several parks and scenic spots.

GREAT place to stay. When we arrived, there was a problem with the water supply but the host communication was very clear and they were able to restore running water by the next day. The place is beautiful, clean, and the outdoor sauna had a perfect view of Lake Superior. Highly recommend this place!

We’d stay again in a heartbeat! Check in was easy….in fact, we arrived a little earlier than expected and they let us check in an hour early. The apartment was spotless. The shower had great water pressure and the bed was comfy. It was the perfect respite after spending all day in the cold air!

Had an amazing time staying in this beautiful cabin on Lake Superior. It was -12 degrees while we were there, so we spent most of the time in the sauna and by the fire overlooking the lake.

Cindy’s condo was perfect for our family of 4. Clean, spacious, and great views! It was comfortable and cozy and a perfect place to come back to after a busy day hiking and exploring. Loved it!

Paul was great. Super friendly. Our kids enjoyed the wooded area, roasting marshmallows on the fire, playing Uno on the deck while listening to music. No TV and WiFi was perfect to disconnect and enjoy hiking and the sandy beaches! Thanks for the great experience.

We had the best stay at Deb’s home. You can see Lutsen ski hill and Lake Superior from the deck. This place is so beautiful and peaceful. The kitchen is fully stocked which was helpful to make meals for a large group of people. If you get bored, she has TONS of games in the closet. The host was very responsive and let us have an early check in. High recommend this stay.
