Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Fauquier County

We had a great stay at Barbara’s home. We were there over the week of Christmas and Barbara had a tree and decorations. We appreciated it so much. The house looked very festive. The house is big! We had lots of space to spread out. The hot tub was well used as well as the games and tables in the basement. The area around the house is beautiful and Barbara gave us a tour of their sheep farm and invited us to walk around the property. We did that and enjoyed our walk along the creek to the river. If you are looking for a peaceful place for a group, this will suit you and Barbara is a wonderful host.

Our stay at Joe’s Farm was perfect! The property is peaceful, charming, and surrounded by nature. The kids loved seeing the free-range chickens. The home itself is beautifully decorated with a rustic farmhouse feel, and every detail was thoughtfully curated. I hosted a small family gathering with relatives from out of town, and the accommodations could not have been better. The space was more than comfortable enough for 5 adults and 3 children, well-equipped, and perfect for spending quality time together. The kitchen had everything we needed, the bedrooms were cozy, and the outdoor space was wonderful for relaxing and making memories. Joe was fantastic—friendly, extremely responsive, and ensured we had everything we needed for a seamless stay. If you’re looking for a tranquil, picturesque getaway with top-notch accommodations, this is the place!

Baljinder's house was exactly as described in the photos and information provided. Lots of space, clean, ample amenities, and great communication from the host. Easy self-check in. Great backyard area and near many places to eat and explore. I highly recommend staying at Baljinder's beautiful and cozy home in Bristow, VA!

Lisa’s place was the right for a relaxing, cozy long weekend. The cabin was very clean and the views amazing.

Cute cabin and not too far out from the city! Loved the privacy of the space and it looked exactly like the photos. Host was very communicative and responsive and amenities were accurate! A few minor “Cons”… 2 full bathrooms but one of them is inside the main room upstairs and the downstairs bathroom door doesn’t close so you either have to hold it shut while using the bathroom or put the trash can to hold the door close. I wished the snow/ice was removed from walkways and outdoor amenities so we could enjoy them! We ended buying salt to put down for the walkway to the home as it was as we didn’t have the most balanced group lol. Would’ve definitely appreciated if they took care of that beforehand. There was a significant amount of dog hair on the living room rug which was bothersome for one of my friends who had allergies but we vacuumed which helped. Overall great place to stay and will keep this place on my list for future staycations 🤗

Hard to describe the gorgeous and meticulously renovated 1880’s farmhome which Brad and Erin offer. It truly was perfect! Our family of 9 gathered to celebrate birthdays and Thanksgiving. We ranged in age from 2 months to 76. Every space in their home was sparkling clean (looked like a new home). The best stocked home we have ever rented, lovely and comfortable furnishings, so many extras in the kithen, bathrooms, bedrooms and for the little ones! The gathering places are perfect…fabulous dining table for our meals! We cooked many meals and lacked for nothing in supplies and kitchen tools. We all slept well in their high end and comfortable bedding, and the property provided hours of fun to be outdoors! The sunrise and sunsets were gorgeous and could be seen from the front porch aligned with rockers and windows to the mountains in the family room. We hired a photographer to take family pictures and they are fabulous. The best home we have ever rented! We will return! Thank you!!

Great place in the heart of downtown. Perfect for a weekend getaway. Very clean, cozy, romantic, and ambient. The fireplace and deep bathtub were our personal favorites. Lots to do in the area. Joy was a great host!

The apartment is very comfortable and quiet with a super convenient location. Moe was a great host, very accommodating and timely with any questions and went above and beyond to provide detailed instructions.

Joy was an absolute JOY to work with! Her property was just beautiful; we went there for a girls’ night-it was clean, gorgeous, modern, cozy, stunning. Loved everything from the fireplace to the bathtub! Instructions were timely and easy to navigate. 10/10 would recommend!

A very pleasant space I recommend. We came after the lovely pool was at the end of season. The kitchenette is cLean and functional but not a place to cook meals. Good lounge space next to the pool. Comfortable bed. all good basically! Friendly family owners sharing their home

Celebrated a birthday and retirement with a friend at Kay's. Kay from the start was helpful and the hospitality was amazing. Her details and care highlighting the birthday and retirement were so thoughtful. Sweet notes and momentos sprinkled throughout the place. Treats in each room.. and if you love animals the care she has for her beautiful horses and dogs is so tender. Kay will gladly introduce them to you. The property itself is a slice of heaven. The interior is cozy and so inviting. Comfortable bed and extremely clean. We wish we could have stayed longer and definitely want to come back.
