Cabin vacation rentals in Farmville

I don’t think I can describe just how wonderful a trip this was but I will try. David was fantastic. To start the place was absolutely spotless and had a super clean kitchen and bathroom. The linens were very clean and there were plenty of towels for the hot tub and shower. The kitchen had a great oven that was a convection oven. There was also a cast-iron skillet, which is so essential. I hate cooking on nonstick because you never know what kind of toxic stuff you’re putting into your food so having a grill, cast-iron skillet, and breakfast skillet was amazing. While we were there, there was a flash flood. While there was no flood to be seen in the house because it’s on a hill, the roadway was temporarily impossible to traverse. David brought us fresh chicken from his farm and it was fantastic. He made sure that we were safe when we did leave once the water had subsided. The hot tub was very clean. It looked brand new. The Internet was very fast and we had no problem watching TV.

Lovely Little Cabin! Gretchen was responsive and friendly. Comfy living space and secluded location complete with a babbling brook. Would definitely recommend.

The cabin was absolutely wonderful exactly how the pictures describe cozy comfortable everything you need for a wonderful stay. I would caution. The river looks much closer than it is. It’s a beautiful view, but walking down to it is probably not something most people are going to want to do. I was content to make s’mores and sit by the fire. Would absolutely recommend this place to anyone that wants a quiet peaceful getaway Lynchburg was a very easy drive. If you want to go into town for anything. The beds were comfortable. All of the linens were provided. The kitchen is fully stocked. The TV is wonderful and intuitive and easy to use. Have only great things to say about this place. Would definitely put this on my list of places to stay again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We are absolutely in love with the cabin and the property surrounding it. The pictures don’t do it justice for how lovely everything is. Everything you could want and need. Stayed here twice now and am looking forward to staying many more times!

Very clean & peaceful. Toiletries provided was a plus. The bath and hot tub were pleasant. Would definitely stay here again!

This is our second stay at this cabin and we so enjoy it there. The setting is private and beautiful. The log cabin is gorgeous. We enjoy the open floor plan and fireplace. It’s been a great location to meet up with family to celebrate the holidays. Wilmer is very kind and helpful. He was responsive to our questions and needs. We appreciated the hospitality. Highly recommend!

An amazing little weekend getaway,. 10/10 recommend this anyone who is wanting to escape for a weekend and wants to relax.

This cabin was ideal for our large family of 7. Caryn was very quick to respond to any of our inquiries. I would definitely ask to stay here again and would highly recommend it to other friends or family. The location was ideal, out in the countryy and still very convenient to town.

We have stayed at many places in Lynchburg. We particularly enjoyed our stay here because it always felt safe and above all, even though it is small and very quaint- it was perfect for my husband and I and our aging dog. The host had many nice touches that made us feel at home. We will stay again in the future.

this was our fourth time staying at Sally and John's cabin, and as usual we felt right at home curling up by the fire. We appreciated that since we've last been at the cabin they upgraded the heater in the bedroom (definitely helpful as it got very cold out second night!) and added a full bed in the upstairs loft (a great place to sleep, including a nearby outlet, if you're too hot). We love coming here and would love to come back! 😃

John was excellent about communicating while we stayed at the house. And when the snow got my buddy’s car stuck he came to the rescue. Couldn’t ask for more.

The stay was nice and the whole ordeal was very easy from getting there to checking in and then leaving. The fire pit and screen door were my favorite part of my stay.

Great place to get away and enjoy nature while having modern comforts! This place exceeded my expectations. Loved the holiday decorations and the personal touches that made it feel like home. Notes: They have a hard water softener, which makes the water taste metallic, so bring bottled water or a water filter. Also, it is secluded from major stores, so be sure to bring all your supplies with you.

Everything was great for a nice weekend getaway. Very private, the dogs were able to run through the woods with no worries. We decided to drive to the wineries which were about an hour away. The deck and fire pit were perfect to watch the sunset over the valley! The gas stove wasn't working but he had a nice electric burner to cook on. Overall the place looked very new and was very clean!

Beautiful secluded cabin. Well equipped kitchen. Perfectly furnished, comfortable beds, clean bathrooms. We enjoyed the peace and quiet as well as the wildlife and stargazing. The hosts were very responsive and easy to work with. We stayed over the Christmas week and the Christmas tree and decorations were a nice surprise. A+ we highly recommend.

This place is a treasure! So clean! So peaceful! What a joy to have our morning coffee on the private deck and watch the cows!! Book this place. You won't be disappointed!

The home is excellent and better than the photos. The host has thought of everything to make the stay enjoyable. Beds are comfortable, showers are hot and the decor is beautiful. We were a group of 3 Couples and we had plenty of space to spread out.

Such a cozy retreat! We absolutely loved this home and how warm and inviting it was! We will be back!

Suzanna and Walter’s home is stunning, charming and cozy. The lot is the most perfect location along the Maury river. Visiting in early October didn’t give us the opportunity to swim but this section of the river would have been perfect for swimming. Having access to canoes and fishing gear was great! My family (including two under age 2) were very well accommodated with the spacious primary bedrooms and comfortable beds. Each room has unique style and we loved admiring the creativity and design out into Camp Attowa. With a short drive into Lexington (about 20 mins) we found this to be a great location that offered privacy and nature. We can’t wait to visit again!

The cabin seemed small from the pictures, but had more room than expected. Everything was very clean. Lots of areas to sit, and a well-stocked kitchen. Kathryn was very responsive and helpful. We ended up leaving early because one of my kids was sick and she gave us a partial refund. She by no means had to since we paid a non-refundable rate so we appreciated the gesture.

This was our second time on the farm and we loved it! Communication was wonderful and they let us check in a little early which was great. We appreciated all the recommendations and tips for making our cabin warm and comfortable. Thank you so much for an amazing off the grid getaway.

Because the property was exactly as described and exactly what I was looking for, I had a wonderful time. We enjoyed spending time outside during the nice weather. The bed was especially comfortable. I was not expecting the choice of snacks and kitchen amenities. If ever needed again, this would be my first choice of places to stay in the area.
