Vacation rentals in Embilipitiya

My husband and I had a fabulous week staying in this beautifully renovated, stylish colonial style bungalow. It’s enormous; with multiple bedrooms, bathrooms and living spaces, as well as a large, manicured garden. A/C throughout the home was much appreciated. We enjoyed the peace of a quiet neighbourhood with natural sounds of birdsong and waves crashing into the beach. The two upstairs balconies were perfect for enjoying sunset aperitives and stargazing. Location was ideal for us; just a short stroll to the beach, restaurants and supermarket. Gayan is a marvellous host and very friendly; he's always available to promptly tend to any queries. Many thanks to our smily housekeeper Iresh for his diligent efforts to present the house immaculately, and those sweet touches like vases of fresh flowers in every room and chilled watermelon juice upon arrival. The Old Dutch is the cleanest and most comfortable accomodation we stayed at in SriLanka. We look forward to returning....

An amazing place to stay while at Mirissa, although only one room has a room cooler. With the humidity around the city, staying in the other room would be a bit difficult. Needs a bit work on the housekeeping, since it’s surrounded by greenery, you would find some insects on the bed. For people who don’t have an issue with this would find the place interesting. Personally my group and I had a good time.

the best stay in Sri Lanka. if you want to feel the nature and power of the ocean you have to live here for a few days. the sound of the ocean was fantastic, the house was clean and equipped. the hosts were very nice and helpful, they even did the laundry! definitely 10/10

This place has a great location if you want to have the Hiriketiya beach in walking distance, it takes only a few minutes. Many restaurants and some small shops also in walking distance. Easy access to the Dicwella town by bus or TucTuc. In the same time the place has nice calm and quiet environment. Hot water, great space for the whole family and we had a good sleep there. The owner and his family are lovely and welcoming people and they shared with us fresh fish and fruit and provided the tank with drinking water so we didn't have to buy the plastic bottles👍, absolutely great and appreciated 👍 Thank you and we will come back

I can't really review LSC Villa, because we didn't stay there, we stayed in another villa nearby. The villa we did stay in was very nice, though, spacious and comfortable with 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a large lounge/seating area, well equipped kitchen and a nice garden. The hosts, especially Nuwan, were very friendly and helpful and resolved any issues quickly. I highly recommend this place and I would definitely stay here again.

The photos are accurate of the space. We found it nicer in real life. It felt comfortable and homely. The space is tastefully decorated. The layout is really nice with a little kitchen, dining area and garden. The garden has been well maintained and nicely designed to ensure the plants provide maximum privacy. Even though the room is by the road, people cannot see in as it is above street level. The space was really clean, above the local standard. Shakila’s family was very friendly and hospitable. It was very easy to communicate with Shakila and his sister too who both speak English well. It was a shame our stomachs were not feeling well so we did not get to try the breakfast. We recommend staying here.
