This place tops my list on the houses I have had the privilege to stay in. From the rustic wrap around porches to the beautiful custom kitchen. Everything about this home feels handcrafted. Definitely a labor of love that must have taken years. And I can’t forget to mention the outdoor space. I am far from an astrologer but the night sky up on top of this mountain without all the light pollution was breathtakingly awg inspiring. And with tons of hiking trails to explore there is never a dull moment. Lastly Matt the host I would have to say is what made our stay the best yet. With all his help from navigating us there to being flexible on our check in to even accommodating us another day last minute. We couldn’t have asked for a better host. I would definitely stay here again.

This was an absolute sanctuary. Very peaceful and relaxing stay with a great view. I especially loved the various places to sit between the sunroom, outdoor swing, jacuzzi overlooking the water, or the fire-pit seating. Andy was very quick to respond when I had questions and thorough in his directions. Highly recommend this place!

Beautiful condo in a stunningly beautiful location. Simy was a wonderful host with clear and quick communication and very helpful. The hot tub with an ocean view was something else and I’ll be recommending this spot to friends and family in future.

Maureen’s Dream House was absolutely amazing! It’s tucked away in a beautiful forest setting, making it feel super private and serene. The house is very spacious and has plenty of room for a big family, with kids and dogs too. Everyone had their own private space, which was a huge plus. The location is fantastic for anyone who wants to visit Redwoods National Park. I highly recommend this unique and unforgettable home!

Our stay was amazing. The location of the house is perfect for a quiet, peaceful getaway. The house was spotless on arrival. We had several sunny days and were also there for a storm. It was fun to be right on the edge of it! We felt centrally located for plenty of activities: exploring Trinidad a few minutes drive away, dinner a Moonstone Grill, hiking in the Arcata community forest, and drive up to Fern Canyon. The house is beautiful enough to just hang out and enjoy the views! We would definitely go back.

Had an amazing time as always in shelter cove and most importantly at Marcus’s place. Our favorite brewery/restaurant Gyppo Ale Mill was only 2 minutes away. Overall would book here again in the future.

Wow- What A View! was exactly as described, a great deal, and very enjoyable. We arrived after dark and had no issues finding the location and entering using the lock box key. We were able to bring our dog (loved this) and used the provided sheets to protect furniture. My absolute favorite part was the view from the kitchen and living rooms and the convenient walking distance to the ocean. We happened to be there at the same time as a storm and were able to witness some truly memorable waves. We ate at a few recommended restaurants in town and were also able to cook a few meals in. We played board games and enjoyed some time away from the hustle and bustle of life. Truly a great birthday present. Thank you!!

We were delighted from the moment we walked inside. Shannah’s house was perfect for us. The views were outstanding, the kitchen was well equipped, the size was just right for the two of us. We used the house as base as we explored the town and the nearby hiking trails. Shannah was helpful and readily available with any questions. We ate in most of the time but staying a week gave us the opportunity to try a couple of the local restaurants. The food was good and the atmosphere had a small town welcoming locals vibe. Being a small town we felt like we really got a sense of the area by just walking and talking to locals. Everyone we met was very friendly. We witnessed some gorgeous sunsets and amazing nighttime star viewing from the house. Only suggestion I’d make is to know that the house numbers on the street are not in order so you need to look for the address. It doesn’t take long but confused us initially. Thanks Shannah! We’ll be back!

Lovely home in a great location! We enjoyed our stay at Mona & Jeff's place. Check in was a breeze and great communication from the hosts. Perfect location! The home was close to so many restaurants and things to do. We were able to walk to everything. Our main focus of our trip was to visit the Redwood National Park and the house was the perfect place to do so. The house was clean and cozy! Large kitchen with everything needed. Coffees and teas provided was a very nice touch. Soft towels and bedding was a major plus. Very friendly neighbors as well. Mona & Jeff responded to messages quickly and even offered to come by to show us how a few things work; much appreciated! We highly recommend staying!
