It was an easy and friendly process booking the property, and the pictures exactly match what you see. The house is warm and sheltered from the adverse weather at the time. The garden is simple and secure if you have a dog. Everything you need for a great holiday is there, it feels very homely and comfortable. We had an issue, and it was dealt with quickly and efficiently. Locally you have easy access , to the bridge to nowhere and the John Muir country park, and its beaches, but take note of the tides. The are other ways back if the tides comes in, just a little longer. You can walk into Dunbar along the cliff tops and the golf course starting from near the bridge. It’s a great area, and Dunbar is certainly worth a wander round. We would certainly use the house again when in the area.

Liz was very helpful from the beginning, from giving clear instructions to lovely recommendations. The house was located in a very quiet beautiful area with not much around within 10 miles, which was exactly what we needed. we felt comfortable and cozy in the house, we loved setting up the fire in the living room and had a nice family time playing games. we drove around the area and we saw some beautiful places and ate amazing food. We definitely recommend the place if you are looking for some quite time away from the business of the big city. thank you Liz and HAPPY NEW YEAR. xx Ioana and family

Our family of 4 (plus Inca, our border terrier) stayed at The Puffin Burrow for 3 nights between Christmas and New Year. It was comfortable, clean and very well equipped. There was even a real Christmas tree in the main room which was a nice touch. The best thing about it was the location right opposite the beach which made it so easy to get out for walks with our dog. Once or twice I emailed Lucy to ask her something and she replied immediately which was very helpful. The flat itself is very tastefully decorated, there are games, maps, books, tv, everything you could need really. We'd definitely book this place again in the future.

This is one of the coziest, well-thought-out Airbnbs we’ve had the pleasure of staying in! Suzie & Glen are so kind & have thought of everything & have created the loveliest oasis! The little touches they added made for the warmest welcome, from robes to twinkle lights to the best stocked kitchen! We could not get over the generous welcome basket & so appreciated having breakfast, coffee, treats & more for our stay! Even the pup had welcome treats! The cottage is very clean & has everything you could ever need including tons of local info & walking maps. The cottage is beautifully set in the woods but close to a lovely village with a nice pub. Glenkinchie Distillery is very close, the train to Edinburgh was quick & easy, & the nearby coast is absolutely beautiful — so much to do in the area! But we found ourselves wanting to head back to the cottage to enjoy cozy evenings! Thank you to Suzie & Glen for the most relaxing getaway, & we hope to return!

Nick's place was a great stopover for us. The place was clean, and had lots of personal touches. Nick and his son, came around to say hello and give a brief orientation of the place, which we found quite useful. Overall, would highly recommend Nick and Fran's place to anyone.

I recently had a wonderful stay at Gary's house and wanted to share my experience. The place was impeccably clean and tidy, making it a comfortable retreat. I appreciated how well-equipped it was, with everything I needed readily available. Additionally, having parking available was a significant bonus. Really super place, and perfect for our family of 5 as we visited various relatives around the area. The beds were very comfortable and the wood burner made it so cosy in the dark February evenings. Splendid view out! We’ll definitely stay again!

Annie’s house was perfect for a big family getaway. The space is lovely and so comfortable, with everything you need. The location is fantastic, really beautiful surroundings and great walks. 5 mins drive from towns supermarkets, beaches, and lovely local shops. Annie was so friendly and helpful too, highly recommend!

Perfect place to stay for a few days on a budget. About 10min walk from bus stops that led to the city, took about an hour to get into the city from here. Owners always got back with us quickly and were so kind. I reccommend staying here if you want more of a cozy stay away from the city!

A beautiful, warm and delightful holiday home. Few mins walk to the beach and on a lovely holiday park with great facilities for children and dogs. Amazingly stocked kitchen equipment and such comfy beds and bedding. Would highly recommend and look forward to coming back!

What a lovely find, the apartment was exactly how Sandra and Gillian described, the extra personal touches like fresh flowers in a vase on the window, milk in the fridge and a bottle of wine were a lovely bonus. Hosts were very responsive and thoughtful and the place was perfect. We can't wait to come back again.
