The Bothy is a wonderful place for both r&r and as a base to explore the wilds of Scotland. It’s incredibly peaceful, cosy, and well located. There are plenty of walks that leave from the front door, as well as some beautiful longer walks a short car ride or cycle away. Susannah was a wonderful host and kept in touch which was much appreciated. Definitely stay here if you can!

We had a really lovely stay at Louis' cottage during our winter trip. The location is quite easy to find given the area is surrounded by fields. The view from the cottage is so beautiful and tranquil. The central heating keeps us warm and toasty. Kitchen has plenty of utensils and appliances for us to cook our breakfast. Highly recommended!

As described. The photographs show clearly the space. The kitchen area was well thought out and well resourced. Instructions were clear and simple. We always felt Clare was available, without feeling any intrusion, it was clear it was an additional enthusiasm as well as a business. We felt very welcome and the flowers reinforced this feeling. Attention to detail was excellent. Local information provided was more than comprehensive and useful. We will return if we are back in the region.

Comfortable and homely. A great view across Angus countryside and hills from the upstairs lounge. A superb base for reaching Angus, Dundee, Perth and beyond.
