I would 100% recommend this place to stay as a quiet weekend getaway. Very peaceful and serene area as well as private. The cabin was so cozy and the indoor fireplace was a wonderful addition.

Our family needed a place to stay as we made funeral arrangements for a loved one who passed away suddenly. We initially requested to book another of Connie's properties, but upon learning of our situation, she recommended this property as being better suited to our family's needs, which it was indeed. Upon realizing that we needed more time, Connie was very flexible in allowing us to extend our reservation as needed. The home is historic and beautiful, yet has all the modern amenities to make the place feel like home as soon as we arrived. The house is warm in all senses, which was very comforting considering the frigid temperatures outside, as well as the heartache of our visit. It has everything we needed to be able to fully focus on our family. We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful place to gather, mourn, and reconnect. Thank you Connie!
