Monthly Rentals in Dunlap

It's unbelievable that our stay was in an RV as it felt like staying at a house! Kathleen was so friendly and made us all felt at home. The property had everything we needed (except for laundry which can be done at the main house). The kitchen and amenities were great we were able to cook our meals. We also loved the small touches like the welcome pack with the Martinelli apple cider and personalised welcome card from Kathleen. It was fun for us to work out how an RV works, like light switches. Our kids loved staying at the RV. Great view, and Kathleen's friendly dog and goats/baby goats just topped it all off! We hope to return some day!

The cabin is ideal for our family to have a full day visit to Sequoia Park and half day visit to Kings Canyon. Rooms are very clean. We didn't realize there are refrigerator and microwaver. We had a nice stay.

We had a lovely stay at Merrilee’s Birdhouse tiny cabin after a few nights camping by the Giant Sequoias. The comfortable bed and view of the mountains was spectacular and peaceful. The property is primarily an animal sanctuary. Upon arriving, we were greeted by two adorable rescue dogs, a cat and some chickens. Later on, we met a couple of horses and a sheep. The cleverly designed outdoor shower is a treat not to be missed. Being off-grid, the outhouse has a five gallon bucket with a toilet seat attached for when nature calls. This is a much better alternative than using our precious freshwater resources. We greatly appreciated our hosts thoughtfulness and ingenuity. If we’re ever back in the area, we would hope to be fortunate enough to have the opportunity to spend another night or two at the sanctuary again.

Fantastic stay. Very clean, and great location. Clear instructions as well; we didn't run into any issues finding the place and checking in. I'm mostly writing this review because we ran into an issue with the water pressure, and Jeff was incredible, responding within a few minutes, and driving over within another 5 minutes to troubleshoot and resolve the issue. On top of that, he even gave us a little refund for our troubles. A huge thanks to you, Jeff!
