Family-friendly vacation rentals in Duncan

We love this little place I think we have stayed there 5 separate times now . It’s right in the middle of Dupont and Pisgah, 30 mins from Hendersonville. So the location is Ideal. Absolutely love the hot tub and the deck. We will be back In the spring

We loved our stay! Ben gave clear instructions on how to find/access the property, was very responsive, and helpful. The house was spotless, comfortable, had everything you need, and the hot tub was a great perk in the cold winter. An added bonus: there is a waterfall to spot on your drive up to the house.

Third time staying at one of David’s cabins and great as always. Cozy and private cabin. Stocked well with kitchen and supplies. Extremely dog friendly with fenced areas. The sound of the creek and relaxing were just what we needed.

After a not so great start experience at another nearby rental, Brandon’s cabin was available and ready to go at a moments notice. He was very responsive and communication was excellent during the stay. The snow made the experience perfect and the time spent at this cabin was magical. Beautiful views, comfortable bedding, and games downstairs made this rental complete.

Penny and her husband were friendly and helpful. We couldn’t get my car up the hill to get to the cabin and Penny’s husband came right down and did it for us! After we saw him get it up the hill we had no issues doing it ourselves. This place is definitely a home away from home. The cabin was nice and had everything you could possibly need! I was impressed. My fiancé and I plan to bring our kids to the bigger cabin they have in the near future. 10/10 recommend especially if you’re a couple looking to have a moment to recharge. The people in town were also very friendly and kind to us as well. Thank you Mrs.Penny for such a nice place for us to stay during the holidays.

My family of 4 plus 2 pups decided to enjoy a nice get-away over Christmas and the location of the Glass House was perfect. Having 3 bedrooms was ideal and the pups LOVED the yard. My two pre-teens loved the hot tub and fire pit, which we enjoyed in the evenings. For local entertainment, we spent an afternoon exploring downtown Hendersonville shops and found some last-minute gifts at the local toy store. We also spent Christmas Eve snow tubing at Moonshine Mountain. The location was only 20 minutes from the house and made for a fun morning. Lastly, we took the pups up to Jump Off Rock in Laurel Park. The park was again, only 20 minutes away, with beautiful views and extensive trails down the side of the mountain. Highly recommend! The only thing I would say is to bring your coffee! I forgot mine and had run to the store first thing to grab some. They have a Keurig and refillable pods, which was nice so it will accommodate either.

THE VIEW, the view, did I mention the view? We stayed for a month to be near a new grand baby, explore Greenville and enjoy a change of scenery. Another son & wife, with toddler & baby, joined us for a week. It is their home so has many personal items but plenty of room was provided for our things. It was spacious & comfortable for a long stay, w private quiet bedrooms, good beds & water pressure. It is an older home w beautiful wooden creaky floors. It has an unusual floor plan w the main bathroom down 3 stairs to the hall and the second bedroom connects on the other side. The second full bathroom is off an office near the 3 bedroom. A large private hot tub (up 3 stairs near the master, then up 3 stone stairs.) was the perfect modern addition. We immensely enjoyed the gorgeous large fireplace! These features all add to the charm of this unique home. Even in the dead of winter we enjoyed watching the lake wildlife, kayakers, fishermen and even a bald eagle! Thank you!

Our stay was fantastic! The space was spotless, well-equipped, and felt like a true home away from home. The location was perfect—close to everything we wanted to see yet peaceful and relaxing. Paul’s communication was excellent, making everything smooth and easy. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!

This was a great place for my extended family to celebrate Thanksgiving! We had lots of room and the kitchen was fully stocked. The beds were very comfortable. We would stay there again.

Our stay here was absolutely wonderful. We were very comfortable here and felt at-home! Matthew had lovely tea, snacks, and water for us upon arrival. His communication and kind-nature was exceptional from the moment I booked the stay, all the way up through checkout! We would book with Matthew in a heartbeat.

We chose this place to spend New Year's Eve, and I do not regret it. The cabin was beautiful, the landscape was beautiful, my family and I had a lot of fun, my daughter loved everything about the cabin, and thanks to Alisson who was kind and responsible from the beginning. I would recommend it a million times.

David's place was great! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We felt right at home and had everything we needed for the weekend. David was also a very responsive host. We would definitely book again in the future!

The house is very convenient to Greenville. It was clean and equipped with everything we needed. This was our second stay here.

We had a lovely stay. It rained for some part of every day, but we're not fazed as there were many indoor options and activities to keep the kiddos entertained. The house was beautiful, comfy and well appointed with thoughtful amenities. . The driveway was a bit to overcome at first but after the first day we got the hang of it. Loved our stay and highly recommend!

This is the 3rd year my family and I have stayed at Doug and Loulyns home. It is always so wonderful and we feel right at home. We love spending our day by the pool and love the screened in porch. Look forward to next year!

Aramis is an incredible host. Usually we have reservations about booking an Airbnb, in the same place that the host lives in, but it was no different than booking a place without the host occupying the space. He gave us our privacy. We never saw him unless we wanted to, he always had the hot tub ready for us and the pool was always clean. He was always available if we needed him and it could not have been more perfect. I could go on and on about how great it was to stay there, how great of a host he is and how we got more than what we paid for. I recommend this airbnb to anyone who wants a beautiful, peaceful, private place to stay. We will return!!!!!!!!! Thank you for your wonderful hospitality!!!

This is our second stay at Aramis's home. It was just as lovely the second time around. We were in town for a horse show at TIEC. The rental is comfortable and feels like a home away from home. The neighborhood is lovely and peaceful. Aramis is a wonderful host. He is very responsive and goes the extra mile providing snacks and breakfast foods. We will definitely stay again!

This was our first stay here, and we LOVED it! Beautiful surroundings and the house was great. I enjoyed walking our dog around the local area and finding trails and waterfalls. Lots of deer around the house. Perfect location to everything we wanted to go see and do, and we really appreciate the local recommendations. Thanks again for allowing us to stay and we hope to visit again soon :)

The location of this beautiful house is in a mountain nature preserve. Simply amazing. Like staying in a national park.

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage. We loved the pool and the grankids loved it too. The cottage was clean , comfy, and cozy. The cottage was very peaceful and private, located on a dead end road. We highly recommend a stay . Will book again.
