The cottage was very cosy and catered for all our needs. The cottage is in a great location for The Lakeland Trial we had come to see and we enjoyed the walks and the scenery. Thank you for the Turkish restaurant recommendation, we visited it twice the food and service was excellent. Thank you for a lovely stay. Karen & Kevin.

When we arrived we were surprised at just how much space there was inside this property! The rooms are huge, everything was perfectly clean and beautifully decorated. There are two log burners with plenty of logs and kindling to keep you going. The beds were very comfortable and we all slept really well. It is just around the corner from the high street and the river, so location is great. There are some lovely pubs and restaurants nearby and good places for breakfast. Can definitely recommend staying here!

A very charming house in a very attractive part of the lake district We had very poor weather (well it was the middle of winter) but the cottage was very cosy and comfortable and the village pub was just across the road.

Absolutely incredible stay, the views alone are worth the visit. But the quality, coziness and cleanliness of the Lodge was second to none. Finished with lots of personal touches as well. Thanks so much Mandy, we will definitely be coming back as our new no1 Lake District spot.
