Vacation rentals in Drakes Branch

Enjoyed our quick weekend of family time with Grandbabies. Had a lot to do even though we could enjoy lake due to time of year. Would like to return during warm weather.

The view! Amazing! Thank you, Jeremy for accommodating my last minute reservation. House was so nice. Thanks for the firewood pile. I was able to enjoy building a fire in the fire pit and sitting out underneath the stars relaxing. The Christmas tree was an extra touch and a nice surprise. Enjoyed the stay a lot.

We had a great time as a family of 6 (5 adults and 1 child), enjoying a Thanksgiving getaway on the lake. The house itself has tons of space, very comfortable, fast Wi-Fi, and matched the descriptions, but the real highlight was the amazing views of the lake and being able to walk down to the water and the dock. We also did some stargazing at night, and actually managed to spot the Milky Way on a particularly clear night, along with way more stars than you'd typically see just 70 miles from a major metro area like the triangle. Overall would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet lakefront getaway.

Alicia's place is so beautiful and serene! The view of the lake was amazing and sitting out watching the stars at night in the hot tub was such a nice way to spend a birthday weekend. Cannot recommend enough!

It was a great stay and just what we needed at the time.

The home was wonderful, and exeded our expectations. Thank you for having us and sharing your hidden gem. My daughters both enjoyed all the amenities. We did a little of everything, board games, fishing, hiking, played pool, cooked together and enjoyed the open floor relaxing environment. We hope to be back for our yearly boat outing and possibly do jet skiing, and kayaking in the Summer. (kayaks and rowing boats were also included for use, a +). Also, we loved the lake and board walk in the back yard and fire pit sitting area. We all enjoyed welcoming our New Year in your cozy lake house, we definitely hope to be back. 🧡'd the peaceful and serine atmosphere. With no hesitations I give this house a 5star.

From the picturesque views to the cozy, relaxing atmosphere, this was absolutely an amazing experience. With just a short drive into town, offering boutiques and restaurants, you feel right at home with the locals. There are adorable quaint towns near by, with beautiful antique shops that you should definitely visit. Kristen was the perfect host! She was very responsive with every correspondence, and was so kind to even check in to make sure we had everything we needed. We felt right at home with all the extra touches. From the plush throw blankets and soft linens to the fire table on the screened in porch. When you book this for a week, you’ll want to stay for two. I hope you enjoy your experience as much as we did.
