We enjoyed staying at Justin and Wendy's house so much! They have variety of kitchen supplies and amenities that you need. Quiet and peaceful neighborhood. A big yard and beautiful lake behind the house. We definitely want to come back during the summer time, hoping we can catch some fish!

Great spot for exploring with dogs! The neighborhood includes another house that I believe John shares with family and friends, so we weren’t entirely alone in the area—which I personally found reassuring. If you’re looking for complete seclusion, it’s a good idea to confirm this detail with John. Right behind his home, there’s a trail perfect for morning strolls, and the location is very accessible for road cycling, which I thoroughly enjoyed. It would also be a fantastic base for mountain or gravel biking adventures! John’s place was spotless, comfortable, and had a nice bathroom with plenty of hot water. Highly recommend!

We loved staying at Evan’s place! It was the perfect snowy escape with space for our pup and a prime fireplace. The house was cozy, well-stocked (great kitchen, records, and candles), and felt private yet not too remote. A market nearby had essentials, but this is a place for relaxing in nature—not a home base for exploring the Hudson Valley, as everything is a 30+ minute drive. A cool hike is just a 5-min walk away, though snow kept us from going far. Evan was super communicative; when the oven broke, he let us know ASAP and even provided his personal air fryer. He also gave us a heads-up about the snowy driveway. Our 2WD couldn’t make it past 10 feet, so we parked at the bottom and walked up—totally fine for us. For dogs: The property is not fenced, there are private property signs close to the house, and a steep ravine with a creek next to the driveway. This isn't an ideal property unless your pup has perfect recall. Our (pre-approved) pup had a blast in the snow!

Great little weekend getaway. Super snowy weekend so wasn’t able to do much around town but the space was nice and cozy to relax in! Sam was super responsive and helped with anything we needed. Would definitely come back!
