A peaceful, clean, and spacious place to stay. It is perfect for exploring Dartmoor and it’s a lovely space which feels private enough for your own trip but Sam is responsive and helpful. We were very pleased with the facilities, cleanliness, and location. Would definitely recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at The Old Byre. The cottage is beautifully furnished and well equipped, with everything you would need. Louise and Jonathan are very friendly and helpful, without being intrusive. My husband was in Plymouth for work and he really looked forward to coming back in the evening and enjoying the sunshine and views on the terrace (we were incredibly lucky with the weather). Yelverton is a short walk away, with a co-op, a butchers and a fabulous deli, and you can easily walk up to Yennendon Down for beautiful views, or on to Burrator Reservoir for an enjoyable hike. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

My partner and I stayed for the weekend and had a fantastic time. The location was perfect — with great access to the moors, local pubs, and central shops. The place itself was beautiful, spotlessly clean, and clearly cared for with great attention to detail. Everything was well-organized, and we especially loved the outdoor area — perfect for enjoying dinner and a drink. The hosts were wonderful: very responsive and helpful, especially when we thought we’d lost our keys and needed a spare. We’d definitely recommend this place and would love to visit again.

We didn't want to leave Naomi's place. I stayed for 4 nights with my 13 year old son, whilst visiting family in Yelverton. the space was well thought out and contained everything we needed. It's a great location and an easy walk to the shops. My son loved the bedroom on the mezzanine and the sofa bed was comfortable and spacious for me, we both felt like we had our own space and enough room. I would definitely stay again and hope to do so soon.
