Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Douglas

Our family loves this place! It was exactly the kind of secluded getaway we were looking for. Jeremy was proactive with tips to help us find it which was much appreciated. It was extremely clean and well stocked with kitchen amenities. The open main room and kitchen were the perfect gathering place for our family. The hot tub and fire pit were enjoyed by all. The bedding was very comfortable. This was our best AirBnB experience yet — thanks Jeremy, we hope to return someday!

We stayed here for a dryland dog race with our dogs. We had a fantastic stay. The place is really dog friendly and dogs had a blast in there fully fenced yard. The hosts were extremely responsive and very kind. Definitely would recommend. Also they even stuff for kids too inculding a 3 bed bunk bed, books and few toys also saw a stroller and a playpen. So overall great place to stay with kids or dogs or both.

Frederick was responsive and helpful. The house was great. Comfortable and clean. It was the perfect house to sit around and talk with family.

I highly recommend staying at this beautiful property. The host was incredibly responsive and communicative throughout the entire process. The property was even more stunning in person, and it was impeccably clean. It was also well-stocked with everything you need if you plan on cooking. The screened-in porch, campfire, and front patio with a hot tub offer a variety of ways to enjoy the fresh air. The host clearly thought of everything to make the space comfortable and convenient, and it’s ideally located near great restaurants, shops, and Lake Michigan. We truly enjoyed our time here!

What a great find! Often the photos make a place look bigger, but this home is deceptively large. Very comfortable and clean. Lots of areas where people can find their own space. Good mattresses, and that’s a huge plus. South Haven is a jewel of a town, and this area in particular is outstanding. You can easily walk to a pristine beach, or the fun downtown and market area. Sweet neighborhood! Finally, you can’t ask for a better host than Chris. Before we got there he proactively sent several helpful messages. He always responded quickly whenever I sent a question. And after we left and realized a treasured stuffed animal had been left behind, he connected with the cleaning crew and organized a way for us to get it back. He is our hero!

In a word, Nina's s place is a rare gem! It's even more beautiful than in the pictures. It's a regal, private, wooden cottage nestled in a forest, with everything you would desire for a beautiful stay. What we quickly noticed is the amount of care that this place was designed with and built, followed by the amount of details to make our stay wonderful. House is built out of gorgeous wooden logs and furnished with amazing custom wood furniture. House is spacious! Kitchen and game room have everything that we needed. Grill works great and the fire pit is draws you to make smores and roast hot dogs. Throughout the estate we noticed everything well stocked and ready for us. Firewood ready in the fire pit and by the fire place, together with small starter logs and lighter. Plenty of towels everywhere they needed to be. Great WiFi. Everything in the house was superbly clean. Nina had helpful instructions ready for every situation, making the stay very relaxed. Thank you so much!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Christy’s place. She is super responsive and it is beautifully appointed with the perfect combo of cozy and chic. We love to cook and she had great recipe books and all tools along with starter ingredients to whip up delicious meals. The land surrounding the property is well maintained and offers plenty for play and relaxation. We will definitely return and look forward to exploring the area in warmer seasons.

Christi made our visit back to our gramma’s house very special. So many fond memories were made in this house many years ago. This summer we created new memories as we reconnected with family. The cottage was well maintained with all the amenities. It was spacious, the outdoor space was great for our cookout and sitting by the fire pit! Christi was great about checking in to see if we needed anything and answering any questions. I would highly recommend this property if you’re looking for a cozy home, close to town and the beach!

Cozy and extremely easy to walk to K college, Vine Neighborhood, downtown, etc

This place is a gem! It was perfect for my husband and I to relax and explore the fun neighborhood for a few days. We loved that our dog was welcome as well! The space is clean, chic and comfortable. The home is charming and full of plants, books, and beautiful details. It had everything we needed…so we could pack light. Troy is a responsive and kind host. His hospitality and attention to detail really makes his place special. Make sure you use his guide book for great local dining suggestions. We will be back!

I greatly enjoyed my stay at Ronda's place! The bed was extremely comfortable, the kitchen well equipped, and the bathtub was a delight to use. It was a perfect space for a little weekend getaway; many restaurants and beach access within easy driving distance. There is not a ton of natural lighting, unless you leave the french door curtains open. I found having to compromise privacy for natural light to be a little disappointing, but I had a wonderful time. I would stay here again!

Robb was such a super host! This place was so nice and welcoming. My boyfriend and I had a lovely time here and we got to meet the pups! We recommend staying here as it feels like home away from home.

Very beautiful place. Secluded and peaceful, perfect for a quiet weekend away. Has a cute little town not too far away with plenty of places to eat and activities to participate in. Would definitely come back!

Would book with this host again! The sound machines were a great touch especially traveling with a kid!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was very comfortable, clean, and spacious. The internet worked very well. The kitchen could have been stocked a bit better with basic cooking ingredients such as cooking oil and condiments as well as saran wrap, ziplock baggies. It did, however, have aluminum foil which was helpful. It was a very easy drive into Saugatuck, Douglas, and Fennville.

Stayed here for our anniversary weekend and we absolutely loved it. It was a beautiful little apartment. Very clean. He even left us a bottle of Prosecco with a happy anniversary note, a couple of bottles of water,coke and beers! Also plenty of complimentary snacks too. So Peaceful and private. We didn’t get to use the outside fire pit/grill but it looked lovely. 5 min drive to downtown Saugatuck. You could walk but we just chose to drive. Great restaurants and nightlife. We will definitely be back again!

This place completely exceeded our expectations!! So many thoughtful details and just an overall beautiful place to stay. Perfect spot to get away to and be able to relax the whole time. Will for sure be returning next year for another stay!

BEAUTIFUL Location, space, and felt right at home. So peaceful and was able to settle in so fast. Roasted marshmallows on the fire pit and was so comfy and clean. Fields was so accommodating and replies super fast. Just wish check out time was later

We had an excellent time as a family at David's cabin. Everything was as advertised, and more. David was very proactive in communicating with us and responsive to any questions we had. The cabin was really, really beautiful, with peaceful surroundings and all the comforts of a well appointed home. David was clear about the pet policy and our dog was clearly welcome in the home. David left really nice touches for the humans as well, with cookies and muffins on our arrival. The house was well stocked with everything we needed, and we are particularly impressed with how well everything is labeled...light switches, cupboard doors, electronics, etc. Very, very well done. We enjoyed our long weekend, winter escape!

We had the best girls weekend here!! Felt right at home from the moment we arrived to Holly’s BnB. The house was spotless and exactly what we were hoping for. We especially enjoyed its proximity to nearby wineries and local coffee shops. We would recommend this place to anyone looking for a fun MI getaway!

What a beautiful cabin! My husband and I were looking to get away for a few days and enjoy a cozy, private place! This home checked all of our boxes! Very nicely kept, home was orderly, comfortable and had everything we needed. The hot tub was perfect as it snowed the day after our arrival and was peaceful and serene! We were able to start a fire in the fireplace and enjoyed relaxing on the comfy sofas! Huge soaker tub in upstairs bathroom and plenty of bedrooms and a fun basement area! The perfect setup! We will have to bring some friends back with us next time- tons of room for several guests to enjoy! We dined at several local restaurants (within a 10 minute drive) that were delicious and spent some time on Water St for shopping, food, and brews! A must-stay place!

The moon barn was a perfect place to stay in between South Haven and Saugatuck. We enjoyed all there was to look at and seemed to see something different we missed earlier. The place had all we needed for our stay and was very spacious and in a quiet and relaxing area.
