Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Douglas Lake

Overall it was pretty good. I don’t like locked doors that I have no idea where they go(too many movies I guess and one was at an Airbnb where the door was locked to a secret basement). Neighbors were friendly. Comfy bed. Overall it was nice to get some rest before continuing on my drive.

We enjoyed our trip to Knoxville for siteseeing and hiking in the urban wilderness. This apartment was just right for our party of two plus two pets. There are maps throughout the space that inspired us to go explore! Tyler was accommodating and the apartment is well furnished and stocked. I highly recommend and we would stay here again.

We stayed for a long Christmas vacation, and absolutely loved it. the house is clean and comfy, and beautifully furnished and decorated. the location is awesome, 20-25 min to Pigeon Forge and Sevierville, and 35-40 min to Gatlinburg, but far enough away that you don't have to deal with too much of the city traffic and all the crowds. before we arrived, there was snow and ice in the forecast, and the hosts even worked out a place for us to park the first few nights so that we wouldn't have to risk the steep driveway (which didn't end up being a problem, but it was SO nice that they had a plan for us!) we enjoyed the hot tub and the dogs loved the fenced backyard. the firepit is great out front, we never got a chance to use it but would have loved to. I would 100% recommend staying here, and hope to be back soon!

I absolutely loved this cabin! Danny sent detailed instructions on location and how to get into the cabin and was very responsive with any questions. Cabin is easy to find right off of the main road between Pigeon Forge and Townsend so no twisting and turning for miles up a mountain. The cabin has plenty of space with one bedroom on all 3 floors so also some privacy. A great game room for everyone to gather and play pool or video games. We had a little snow while we were there and sitting out on the front porch watching it snow was wonderful. It is a few miles outside of Pigeon Forge so it is a little drive to get into all of the attractions but honestly, that was one of the best parts because you felt like you were away from everything but in reality you are only a few minutes away. I would definitely stay here again.

After our other Airbnb host had to cancel, we were scavenging to find somewhere quick! This was the perfect spot. Quick communication and super clean.

This was our second stay at this location. We love that it is pet friendly, without size restrictions and crazy pet fees. The fenced in back yard also makes it easy for the dogs to get out their energy. We will definitely consider staying again in the future.

We loved our stay! The cabin looked even better in real life with new Adirondack chairs on the deck. It was very comfortable, quiet, private, and relaxing. We didn’t leave the cabin for the whole week and never grew tired of anything. The hot tub was clean and very relaxing during a cold rainy week. Our dogs also loved sitting on the wrap around porch and watching the birds in the trees. We were worried about the drive up from previous reviews, but we drove a 4WD Jeep and had no issues at all. We absolutely recommend booking this cabin!

Our stay at Emily’s cabin was perfect! From the very beginning we felt like we were old friends and that continued on throughout our stay. Everything was comfortable and just right. I was very concerned about the roads because I’m not used to mountain driving but they were definitely manageable and some of the best mountain roads I’ve driven on! The cabin was easy to find and the view from all of the decks was gorgeous but that top deck was breathtakingly beautiful. We cooked most of our meals in the cabin and everything we needed was there, including spices and cooking oil! I definitely recommend staying at this cabin when you visit the Smoky Mountains! Wonderful host! Great location! Beautiful cabin!

The cabin was beautiful and spacious for family of four with one pet. Teenage boys enjoyed the pool/hot tub. Would definitely recommend.

This place was great. My wife and I stayed here for our anniversary. The view was amazing. We appreciated the indoor large jetted tub as it was way too cold to try to use the outdoor hot tub. This place is about as high up the mountain as you can go. There were a couple of days where it snowed at the cabin, but wasn't snowing after we started to descend the mountain. I was quite thankful to have AWD on the vehicle. We would definitely stay here again.

Went with 2 other couples lots of space and well stocked cabin.. propane for fire pit table was out but I refilled it and she quickly reimbursed me!! Easy to talk with and very helpful host!!! Surely will b back!!! Thank you so much!!

We enjoyed our long weekend stay with family. The pool is not very big, but it was a good size for kids and they enjoyed the option while others were in the hot tub. The cabin's location is very close to attractions and stores if needed.

This listing was amazing! Very private and beautiful views from the back deck. The inside was very clean and had all the essentials. Exactly as described/pictured. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again if ever in the area.

We loved our stay at Eric (and Obi’s) cabin. It was the perfect balance of private and peaceful while still being close to all of the adventures and attractions that Pigeon Forge offers. Between having peaceful nights making dinner and staying in at the cabin with our dogs by the fireplace and going into town for mini golf, short winter hikes, ranch visits, and dining out, we had the best of both worlds and thoroughly enjoyed our week. Eric was very responsive and helpful throughout the process. Thank you for a great stay!

We loved our stay! The sunroom off the bedroom was our favorite spot in the cabin. We spent all our mornings there with books and coffee! Stacy was kind to call before our stay to give us some helpful tips. The fenced in area for the dogs was wonderful, they felt right at home too. The views are amazing, you can sit in the hot tub and see the mountains all around you. So gorgeous, hoping to come back again!

We loved our short getaway stay at Amy's cabin! It had everything needed as listed in the description to prepare us for arrival. The whole cabin was presented wonderfully and was so cute. We picked a very cold week to be here so sadly we weren't able to enjoy the beautiful open porch more. In regards to SUPER cold weather, I'd recommend bringing a portable space heater if you have one. I run cold all the time so I brought mine just in case and I'm glad I did. There is already a portable space heater upstairs but I very much benefitted from bringing mine to use in the downstairs bedroom at night. My favorite part of this cabin was the wood fireplace which made for very cozy evenings in. Location was perfect for us. It's not to close to all the hustle and bustle, yet not to far either. We enjoyed our stay so much that we're already planning to return this year.

We booked Lisa’s cabin last minute over Valentine’s weekend & thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cabin is lovely & has everything you need. The beds were insanely comfortable! By far the best mattress I’ve slept on in an Airbnb. Lisa provides lots of info and responds almost immediately! There are two very small things we didn’t care for, but they are minor. The first is the location - we actually loved being close to Cades Cove, however the neighbors are close (and not the tidiest). This is no fault of Lisa of course, but my husband and I usually like to stay in more secluded cabins, just our preference. The other “con” is the hot tub. It was the selling point for us to book, however we never actually used it as it’s located on the front porch, very close to the road. They do have a small privacy panel, however it’s still very viewable from the road. I understand that due to the property being so unlevel, that is the only option, it just wouldn’t have made for a very relaxing evening

This is the perfect little getaway. It has a very homey feeling and not the standard modern look nowadays. It’s about 30 minutes from Gatlinburg and you’re away from most of the tourist and traffic. Absolutely perfect and the waterfall is surreal. Would definitely come back

We loved staying here. The kitchen was easy to cook in, furniture was extremely comfortable, and WiFi was amazing for being in the mountains. Very peaceful and perfect place for a getaway! The hosts were both friendly and fast with their responses. It snowed during our stay which was absolutely beautiful but we were a little nervous about the roads. The hosts assured us and made it feel like if something by chance did go wrong that they were there to help. We will definitely be coming back!
