Fantastic stay, thank you so much! Very comfy, clean, warm and had everything you could possible need! Hope to return again one day. Really well situated - we visited the aquarium on Saturday after doing the 5k park run and then explored Royal William yard after the 2k junior park run, which was right behind the house!

We thoroughly enjoyed Cawsand and Mo’s accommodation: Both exceeded our expectations, as a location for walking, swimming and diving but also Cawsand itself and how convenient Mo’s place was for it all. The quality of the accommodation fixtures was high everywhere. We were 200 m from the cove and the beach. Parking was convenient and affordable (under £10 for the week). And Mo was very attentive to making sure all was fine and we were comfortable. One of our favourite destinations and venues in a good while. Mo, we plan to come back! Happy New Year!

Had an amazing time, Helena’s place was so clean, had everything catered for, the steps and the walk is worth it for the best view we’ve experienced in an airBnB. An ideal location to explore the local town, pubs and eateries, with plenty to choose from including the nearby Harbour moon which had a fab menu and the Golden Guinea which has an amazing rooftop garden bar, make sure you sample a pasty from Sarah’s pasty shop, the best by far! Nearby, Fowey, Bodmin, Liskeard, all worth a visit but don’t forget Polperro which you can hop on a bus to for just £2, a boat trip there for around £15 then walk back along the coastal path with great views of the Cornish Coast. Further afield is the fab beaches of Newquay, Tintagel Castle, the Camel Trail from Padstow to Wadebridge or some retail therapy in the City of Truro. Recommend Cornwall to anyone and Helena’s place is a must for exploring some of the fantastic places Looe and surrounding areas has to offer.

We booked a fairly last minute week for a family trip and we’re so glad we did!! The apartment was brilliantly situated and absolutely perfect for a family trip. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could want and everything was pristine clean. The hosts were so responsive and easy to contact and helped us with a few questions we had. Would absolutely recommend and can’t wait to book again soon.

We really enjoyed staying at Mark and Jo’s place, the accommodation is spacious and equipped with everything. The location is outstanding, so close to the center of Polperro yet quiet and private. above all Mark and Jo have been amazing from checkin to checkout. The welcome cream tea, as other reviewers noted, is just the icing of the cake, we really appreciated it, and became our preferred breakfast for the rest of our journey in Cornwall

Was a really comfortable space. I had booked this place as my friends were visiting for my graduation. The hosts were really friendly and were quick to respond to our messages. We had a really good time here. Also, we loved the collection of books you’ve got! Thank you for the space. Would definitely come back here next time.

Absolutely perfect. It was exactly as described. Will definitely stay again if in Plymouth. Also the parking space is a bonus. So not having to worry about that was great. Fantastic to have tea, coffee and a pint of milk! Cleaning products, washing up liquid ect. Made it all easy to not have to worry about taking or buying the above. Detailed folder of what to do and where to eat. Tiny tiny downside was the lift was out of order meaning we had to park then go round the front to get our stuff in and 2 flights of stairs. For us being youngsters in our 50’s ;) this was no problem. I guess I’m saying this because we were told and apologised too in advance by Nigel. I’m sure this will be soon be rectified for any future guests that might have a problem with stairs. Big thank you to our hosts we all had a lovely stay

Graham's flat is exactly as described: in a quiet location but 2 minutes from the bustle of Mutley Plain's shops, restaurants and bars. It's warm, clean and has comfy beds. As Graham says, be very careful when parking- one end of College Avenue is free after 10am on Saturday but not the end near the flat. The welcome treat was a bonus! I'd have no hesitation to book again.

We loved our little flat right in the centre of town. Ian and Jack were very responsive and helpful hosts. We only stayed a few days but we would certainly stay here again!

My family and I had an incredible stay here. The location is unbeatable, with plenty of activities nearby, and having a Tesco Express right next door was incredibly convenient. Although it was a bit noisy at times, that’s understandable given the vibrant area. Overall, we absolutely loved it!

Phil’s place was a great place to stay. I had stayed here for a month and the location was excellent. Really nice place to stay in Plymouth on the Hoe close to many attractions. The apartment was very spacious and clean. Phil was a great host throughout.

Vera is a great host. Very friendly, warm and welcoming, easy to talk to and very helpful. The flat is situated in a quiet residential street so that you are close enough to the city, to enjoy all that Plymouth has to offer, but far enough away to enjoy peace and quiet. There is a lovely little outside area which, on a nice sunny day, I’m sure would be lovely to enjoy your morning coffee before heading out on your adventures. The bathroom is modern and clean and has a lovely big shower. The kitchen and lounge area is just right for 2 people and the bed is nice and comfy. We stayed for over 2 weeks during the winter as we were working in Plymouth, the flat was cosy and warm to come ‘home’ to at night and we were able to cook our own meals in the well equipped kitchen. Having a washing machine was a great bonus because of our longer stay. We felt very much at home and had an easy commute to and from work every day. Vera is a lovely lady and always very helpful. 😊

Hubby & I had a really relaxing long weekend. The apartment was so lovely & warm & cosy and I loved reading my books sitting on the window seat, looking out over the causeway. The apartment was extremely clean and it had everything that you could possibly need & it really felt like "home from home". This is a place to "switch off" from the world in peaceful surroundings. We didn't get to use the pool or the gym this time but they were extremely inviting. The whole complex is quiet & peaceful and with direct private access to the beach & café it's a "real little gem". The outlook across the causeway is incredible and I was completely spell bound by watching the waves and currents swish and swirl around. Even though our weekend was at the time of server gales & rain & even sleet, we were toasty, warm and comfortable. The café was really great to eat in as well. Our host was always available via messaging if we needed anything & the tv reception and Wifi was great. 100% we will return!

We really enjoyed our stay, Tara was extremely helpful in communications. The property was spotless and the hot tub was used a lot. The cream tea on arrival was tasty. We really hope to come back again soon. Thank you so much.

Lovely place to stay with a lovely view. Very clean and tidy on arrival. Was a bit of a struggle to find as the sat nav won’t take u directly there however the instructions were very clear. The bottle of fizz and homemade scones in the fridge were a lovely touch. Sheila is also an amazing host and very welcoming, helping with any questions we had prior to arrival as well as when we were greeted there. Overall all a lovely weekend getaway!

We opted for no cleaner so we gave the place a good clean on arrival and when we left, as long as you don’t mind doing that then there’s no problem with that option but it’s nice to have the choice of having someone do it for you! The location was good for what we wanted though the nearest pub is a decent walk up a huge hill away (Journeys End). The seafront is not far at all, 7 mins walk. The view from the lounge window is lovely of big rolling hills. Pam was attentive and available throughout. Thanks very much for a lovely stay xx

Just returned from our first visit to Fox Valley Cottages and we absolutely loved it. We will definitely be returning next year! Although the location is very secluded and peaceful the kids had plenty to do on site with the swimming pool and play area. There are plenty of things to do within driving distance, our faves were Looe, Polperro, porfell Wildlife Park and we also did a day over at Newquay. Terri, Chris and the team were wonderful and couldn’t do enough to help. Can’t wait to return.
