Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Denton Township

My family and I had a great new years at the cabin. The host was very responsive and accommodated our check out time. The cabin has everything listed plus more! Very clean and organized. Would definitely consider coming again!

I highly recommend staying here. We had 9 kids with ages ranging from 10-20 and they all had a great time, never complained about being bored. The house was big enough to where they could have their fun even when the adult needed to sleep. The house was very accommodating and the outdoor space was absolutely perfect.

A perfect place to spend Christmas back home! Kelly even had a Christmas tree for us!! The house was just as described with adorable holiday accents. It was a bit too snowy to go in the river, but it was wonderful to watch the weather out the large windows over it. The dogs settled right in. The location is perfect as well. Could not have asked for a better all-around space!

Ryan was a great host. The place is situated on a beautiful river. Awesome stay!

My family and I had the most incredible experience. The place was spotless and perfect for our big family with 5 children under 6. Plenty of space. Adorable rooftop. Didn't even have time to enjoy the jacuzzi but they were more than happy to help us out with that. They even had cute little toys/legos our children enjoyed as well. Both kitchens were fully stocked with whatever you could possibly need. Everything was so so so immaculate and clean, which truly matters when you have a bunch of children rolling around and crawling on floors. We also could not love this house more! Loni was super responsive to any questions I had. We had the best long weekend!

Beautiful home that gives you an isolated feeling of being in the woods, but is close to anything you can think of, the perfect peaceful getaway. Candy was a pleasure and more worried about my comfort than I was, this was my second stay at her home and already looking forward to staying again next year.

The Big Drake is in on quiet lane right on the lake shore, the place is large while still feeling homey. The kitchen is well l equipped with modern appliances. The heating and AC are controlled by different Nest thermostats, and we were able to keep it at a good temperature. The three main bedrooms are very comfortable--two share an adjoining bathroom, and for one it is around the corner. The kids rooms with bunk beds were great as well. The rooms above the garage were a bit more rustic, but clean and comfortable. The furniture in the living room is very cozy leather and the other furniture is nice, often custom wood like in a fancy lodge. The check-in and check-out were super easy, with clear instructions and communications. The place is 10 minutes from a large grocery store (Meijer) and 20–30 minutes from Traverse city, which is a neat town to explore with excellent food. Overall, we highly recommend and hope we can come back!

This was our second stay with Terry & we will definitely be back! He always goes above & beyond to make sure we have everything we need & is very communicative. Can’t recommend enough!

An absolutely beautiful space and amazing hosts. I had the perfect stay with Monica and Gary, they were so friendly and helpful. The apartment is the cleanest rental I have ever stayed in by far, the view from the balcony is beautiful and the lake access is beautiful with a large sandy beach. I will definitely be staying here again when I visit lake city. Also, very comfy beds and a quiet peaceful neighborhood. Highly recommend.

We had a lovely quick stay at The Tatman house. Such a quaint, and lovely space. Perfect spot to stay and be able to see our son at CMU. Would come back again!! Thank you.

Although unforeseen work-related circumstances prevented us from taking our vacation, I want to highlight Denise’s incredible communication and understanding. From the very beginning, she was responsive, kind, and generous, making a stressful situation much easier to navigate. Was perfect for a girls’ antiquing and shipping weekend. The bustling(but wonderful) coffee shop below was a little loud early in the morning, but we planned ahead with the provided sound machine and earplugs and enjoyed a restful second morning. We enjoyed the location, the fireplace, comfy beds and provided amenities.

It was an absolutely great location, with private access to the lake. It was very affordable, and matched the description. The unit has ample pots and pans, towels, and a large TV to watch movies. The only downside was that there wasn't enough seats to all eat together, since there are only 2 stools and 2 chairs, and the unit allows for 8 people total. However, it isn't a deal breaker. I would definitely and plan to stay here again!

We always have a wonderful stay here! The house is beautiful and decorated nicely-a modern and antique mix. Very comfortable and private as well.
