We stayed at Margaret's family farm the last 4 days of our 12 day trip. it was truly beautiful, peaceful, and terrific for finishing up an amazing trip. Margaret and her brother William are gracious hosts and full of ideas for day trips in the area, should you wish to explore. Her farm is just lovely and horses, as well as her dogs Jess and Max are friendly. Highly recommend this location for a peaceful and fulfilling vacation with a terrific central location in Ireland!! I can't recommend this place enough! Paul is a wonderful host—friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Staying on his farm feels like stepping into another world, offering a truly unique experience. Right outside your window, you'll see alpacas roaming, and you can pet and feed them at your own pace. The farm is in a peaceful, quiet area, making it the perfect retreat if you're looking for a slower pace. Plus, there’s plenty to explore nearby—a short drive takes you to a beautiful trail leading to a waterfall. Paul’s cottage is also very child-friendly. The alpacas are gentle and friendly, and even my small Yorkie felt comfortable around them. With plenty of space for kids to run and play, this place is ideal for a relaxing and memorable getaway. We will definitely be back again.

Eileen’s place was a perfect home away from home for my family, very comfortable beds. Eileen supplied milk sugar tea/coffee & even some treats in the cupboard which was a lovely touch.
