Family-friendly vacation rentals in Cythera

My family of eight stayed at the residence. Great accommodations, good location and within easy walk to grocery stores and restaurants. Anna (host) was very friendly and very responsive when we needed assistance. The house is multi story with plenty of stairs, but it did have a lift for family members who could not navigate the stairs easily. Overall, it was a great location and house worked well for our family. Highly recommend if in need of a house with multiple bedrooms and bathrooms.

This was one of the nicest places we have ever stayed in. The place is at least as good as the photos show. We loved the pool and the outside kitchen with a baking oven run with fire wood to make pizza and bread. The area is very quiet and the view on the surrounding hills very relaxing. Also, John is an extremely friendly and helpful host. We highly recommend the place!

How to say, if you are looking for tranquility, rest, sun, a beautiful sea view,a jacuzzi for relaxation , in a charming town, this cycladic house will charm you as it charmed us! Sue is a welcoming, pleasant and responsive host. We can only recommend this slice of heaven!

5 star stay from start to finish! One of the best Airbnb’s we’ve ever stayed in! Andreas the host was so friendly and helpful, giving us lots of recommendations. He genuinely cared that we had an enjoyable stay. The apartment was in an amazing location right near the Acropolis and walking distance to great restaurants and shops but it was also so quiet which was perfect. Beds, pillows were all so comfortable and the curtains were blackout ones so we got a great nights sleep every night. The kitchen and bathrooms were spotless and the kitchen had everything you would need plus milk, juice, butter etc from Andreas. I’d also recommend asking Andreas to arrange transfers to and from the airport. Kostas was great and so friendly pointing out sights both to and from the airport. The hot tub was fabulous too! Super after a long day seeing the sights! A wonderful stay all round! Would recommend to anyone coming to Athens! Thank you Andreas!

We loved olive tree house and the space it provided. The pool needed some treatment and wasn’t heated but that was ok for us. The hot tub was fabulous and the views are immense. Wi-Fi isn’t too wonderful and the aircon was noisy but on the whole the house is comfortable and spacious, and a real retreat! Thank you Ann!

We had the most wonderful stay with Andreas and his team. The villa was perfect for us and all of our needs, in particular our children’s, were catered for. The views of Lakka bay are spectacular, but it is worth noting if you wish to walk into town, the return journey is up a short but steep hill and isn’t ideal with a pushchair. We managed perfectly well on foot however with a 1 and 3 year old. Of particular note was the amazing breakfasts that were produced each day. There was always more than enough food available and it was freshly made by the team. Andreas was incredibly helpful in the run up and during our stay, a wonderful host. Thank you for a most enjoyable stay and we hope to be back soon.

We loved the quietness & the sound of sea. The views of sea were amazing. You need to have a car to visit the lovely locations nearby. All in all we very much enjoyed our stay.

Despoina 's place was very qute, clean and comfortable to stay in. The host was very warm and welcoming! It is highly recommended to stay there as Parga is a very nice option as a place to visit plus not very far by car you can also visit Paxous and Antipaxous where the famous film of Papakaliatis in netflix Maestro has been filmed!!

Staying with Giannis was really nice. The beach house corresponds to the photos, the sea is right outside the door! There are numerous restaurants and also good shopping in the village itself. We had a rental car, which makes it easy to explore the area, Nafplion is also very easy to reach. Giannis is an excellent host who was always easily accessible and regularly asked us if anything was missing. He also showed us the place and gave us a lot of good tips. We felt very comfortable right away!

Highly recommended!!! The apartment is very clean, spacious, cozy🏠 The terrace is a wonder and has a very nice view to the sea. Igli and his wife are very friendly and attentive.

We stayed at this home and really loved it! It is a very beautiful and cozy place, ideal for relaxation and rest. It's pet-friendly, which made us feel very comfortable as we had our dog with us. Mrs. Eleni was a great host – hospitable, kind and always willing to help us with anything we needed. The large balcony with the unique view of the village and the mountains was our favorite spot, and our dog enjoyed it. Also there was a park for our baby to sleep, who is 9 months old, which made our stay even more comfortable. A pleasant surprise was the breakfast waiting for us in the fridge – jams, bread and other goodies that made the start of our day even better. The location is especially calm, perfect for relaxing. I'm sure we'll be visiting again very soon!

A beautiful apartment in a quiet place in Sami. It has all the necessities and a nice balcony.

Apartment in a Mediterranean- style villa, ground floor. Both the apartment and the surroundings are gorgeous and you have a great view. In the middle of an olive tree Forrest, very calm and quiet, 15 minutes walk to the city center (if you are up to climbing a small hill) or 5 minutes by car. Very beautiful design, kitchen fully equipped, mosquito net in windows, even beach towels were available. What made this stay even better was Tessy, our host. Incredibly kind, responsive and proactive, she welcomed us with an earlier check in, show us around, gave us recommendations in the island and made us feel so comfortable. Thank you for everything 💛

Luca,s place is perfect if your looking for a base to explore south Puglia. The property is beautiful, surrounded by views of the towns, pomegranate trees and potted plants. The room is perfect size, bed is comfortable and kitchen easy to use.

Absolutely wonderful compound on the Ionian Sea, private estate to relax and recharge with family. Would gladly visit again!

For those who want to relax while at the same time they want to go to shops and see the center! Perfect place for winter and summer! Excellent, comfy villa with an amazing view. We really enjoyed our week; the villa is spacious and comfortable, with a large comfy bed, good sized bathroom with a powerful shower, and comfy sitting room/kitchen area. The terrace (with pool) is exceptional, with an amazing expansive view across the bay in front of Vasiliki. Plenty of room for lounging in the sun, and sundowner workouts. The villa was very clean and tidy. The kitchen was equipped to do us a couple of evening meals when we didn’t fancy going out. Great location for exploring Lefkada island; plenty of the best beaches on the island within an easy 15-30 minute drive. Also an easy 5 minute drive into Vasiliki itself, which has plenty of restaurants and two supermarkets. The host Therodorus and George were very helpful and courteous. Note a car is essential, as it’s a fairly steep 10-15 minute walk into town. Tip for drivers: steep drive in first gear up to the house. Overall: highly recommended!

We had a lovely 7 day stay at Skala cottage which was perfect for me, my wife and our 18 month old son. Panos left us a wonderful welcome package with all the essentials and more. It is very short walk to the pedestrian area of Skala village. The weather was lovely and our son enjoyed playing in the pool. There is a local playground nearby also. Panos arranged for Desi to attend half way through our stay and clean the cottage - this was well communicated and much appreciated. Panos also arranged our transfers to and from the airport by the amazingly helpful and friendly Christopher. He showed us all of Skala on arrival and said if we needed anything to let him know. Later in the week we arranged for Christopher to take us and pick us up from the capital Argostoli which is about a 50 minute drive from Skala - it was easy to arrange and Christopher was super reliable. Overall the cottage was amazing and perfect for our family. Thank you!

From start to finish of our holiday Elaine and George were perfect hosts , nothing was too much trouble for them . The villa was perfect and the pool was so inviting after a long day out we even decided some days just to stay by the pool and cook on their great barbecue. Both of them made us so welcome . The villa is a great location to see all of the island and so peaceful.

We really loved the house and surroundings at Richard’s place. He was very helpful and the whole complex was so well serviced by him. The rooms were great and there was air conditioning - which was so good as it was a very hot spell. Richard’s olive oil is delicious! The pool area is beautiful and all the inside and outside furniture is excellent. Thank you Richard!
