Thank you Neil and Kate - the four nights I stayed was just what I needed. Cosy, comfortable, relaxing and great value for money. Quick and detailed communication throughout, which included a very thorough booklet for cottage and local info. The one thing I would recommend to others is to arrive in daylight because of the dark, tight country roads nearby. Especially after my satnav had to re-route me because there was a closure/diversion.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Crog Loft with a sauna and hot tub, and it was nothing short of a dream. Nestled in the west wales countryside, this retreat offers the perfect balance of rustic charm and modern comfort. The loft itself was spacious and thoughtfully designed, with large windows that provided stunning views of the surrounding wilderness. The decor gave it a cosy, welcoming feel, while still allowing the natural beauty to shine through. A highlight was the log burner. Only issue was the steep staircase to the loft, not ideal if you have mobility issues so just be conscious before booking. The sauna was a highlight of the trip, after a day of hiking it was the perfect place to relax. Felt really secluded even though Paul's nan was home and she said hello as we were leaving, it was very sweet. Overall, if you're looking for a peaceful getaway where you can disconnect, recharge, and immerse yourself in nature, this crog loft is an absolute gem.

Perfect little cottage for our short notice stay. Lovely garden space and very quiet which is what we were looking for. Short walk to a lovely pub/restaurant and a shop with all you need. Great base for trips into Newquay and Aberaeron .

A really cozy cabin in a private quiet place. Maria, the host, was so incredibly helpful and pro active in messaging. She went out of her way to make sure me and my friends felt right at home. Her hospitality was impeccable and unmatched and we were all very appreciative of that. The cabin was so homely and comfortable, the main living room is done up so well and is really emblematic of the 'cozy winter cabin' vibe you would hope for. If you're looking for a private place to get away from the busy city life then this is the place for you! There is also a large Smart TV which we all really found nice (we watched the Usyk and Fury fight on it - wow). There is a helpful cabin manual that tells you everything you need to know (WiFi, instructions on electricity top-ups, close by shops and other really helpful info). If you need anything or have any questions then Maria will be more than happy to assist you. Overall I would recommend this to anyone who prefers quiet and low-key places.
