Well maintained guest house with quiet neighbourhoods but you may hear the train whistle from time to time 😅

This is our second time staying at the Bamboo Garden property. We loved it just as much as the last time. Ping and her husband are great hosts. Extremely friendly and always responsive and helpful anytime we had reached out to them. Would definitely recommend this place 10/10

Surprising! A wild oasis of California's natural beauty right next to LA! Xiomara and Van's trailer is tiny, perched on top of the highest mountain around, and as a solo traveler, I felt right at home there :) They are so friendly and helpful, very good people. If you have never RV'd before, there might be some adjustments to using the toilet/shower. But if you already like RVing, THIS IS YOUR SPOT! It is stunning, views in every direction. I recorded an amazing yoga video with the perfect peaceful backdrop up on the tippy top of the property--it's so lovely. And!!! As I was meditating afterwards, like 30 crows came and circled above me!!! When I was done they left!!! This is a place to find peace and feel restored. Loved it!

We arrived on a Monday, easily found the cottage and got settled. Walked around the neighborhood and found a place nearby for dinner. On Tuesday we had plans in LA and as we were headed back to the cottage a wildfire broke out nearby. We were not familiar enough with the area to feel comfortable guessing at whether we should evacuate or not...and people around us were clearly evacuating. So we ended up leaving, but Julia reached out several times, even though I'm sure she was busy with her house and cottage. Not the vacation that we planned, but we made the best of it. The cottage was really nice.
