Spent a delightful 10 days at Rayvon. It is exactly like the photos - clean, well equipped, cosy, classic with some lovely modern touches. The kitchen is particularly pleasing - light and bright and well equipped. It is in the perfect location for walks on the beach with beautiful views across to Scotland. Oh and the excellent pub/restaurant The Ship is approximately 30 seconds walk away! The village has a quirky but very well stocked local shop too, in case you don’t fancy the schlep to Lidl. I visited in the Autumn so the beautiful flagstone floor was a bit chilly underfoot (note to self, don’t forget slippers next time), but I should imagine in the warmer summer months it would be very welcome. And the heating system and fabulous log burner (and my socks) more than made up for the cold feet! Would definitely recommend Rayvon.

The cottage was very cosy and catered for all our needs. The cottage is in a great location for The Lakeland Trial we had come to see and we enjoyed the walks and the scenery. Thank you for the Turkish restaurant recommendation, we visited it twice the food and service was excellent. Thank you for a lovely stay. Karen & Kevin.

We had such a lovely stay, James was very helpful and responsive. The house felt like a home from home and had everything we needed and more. It was the cleanest Air BnB we've stayed in, with the most comfertable bed we've stayed in too! Neighbours were really helpful and friendly. The children loved waving to the horses. The parents loved having a filter coffee with a sea view, it was bliss. We can't wait to stay again, thanks so much!

We had a lovely stay in Kerry’s cottage, it was an ideal base to explore the Lake District with our Springer, The cottage was well maintained and clean and had all the basics that we needed for our stay including a hamper with some bits in to get us started on our trip, We would highly recommend Kerry’s cottage for anyone looking for a place to stay in the Lake District
